Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad design for electric stoves This tea pot has a small piece of s shaped wire you must put on stove top of electronic stove tops only .This piece makes the pot slick as ice when you put it on the stove ,if you move it a little it could slide off burner and burn you . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ice Man Glass is the best, no safety issues to worry about, received product as described. Would recommend December 20, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only holds 7.5 cups, not 12 cups as advertised. I ordered this kettle because I wanted the a 10 cups min. capacity. I am very disappointed to find out that it only holds 7.5 cups. The kettle I received looks like the picture online, but holds no where near the 12 cups. What a disappointment. October 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works the way it should works just fine, kind of cool to have the boiling water visible when the tea water is ready. Also lends a bit of a 'laboratory' feel to the kitchen due to it's beaker-like design, if you like that sort of thing. Gets 4 stars because the whistle is somewhat low-volume, not the best for us absent-minded professors who tend to forget we lit the stove and also that it needs a special trivet (included) to work on an electric range. Fairly sturdy construction considering the price point. December 25, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This tea pot is very user friendly. I use this tea pot everyday. I have hard water, so, I got this tea pot for the removeable lid. I really like that fact that I can not only get into the pot to clean it, but I can SEE that it is clean. It is also great for steeping tea bags for iced tea. You do have to take the lid off to pour the water out, but the design of the top keeps the steam from coming back onto your hand. Oh, it does whistle loudly once the water is at a full boil and it works very well on a gas stove. June 12, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking little whistling tea kettle I haven't used this tea kettle yet, but it looks nice sitting on the stovetop. I wanted a whistling tea kettle that was too big. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value and product I wanted a kettle less vulnerable to the high mineral content of the west Texas water supply, and this glass product should do the trick! Only drawback: removal of the lid is necessary to pour and requires care to avoid scalding. Also might not be advisable for a home with children. August 7, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bought for grandmother I bought this as part of a mothers day gift to my grandma. She had one previously and left on the stove too long and melted the top. She LOVES this one that I got, and hopefully wont melt it again lol June 4, 2013
