Customer Questions & Answers

Should I cut of the outbloomed flower on the Gaillardia /Arizona Sun?

Asked by: Renie
Hello. Yes, deadheading (cutting off the spent flowers) will encourage more blooms to form.

if this is bare root and arrives, gets planted in early July, how long before we see full blooming flowers? I had planned to buy flowers in pots.

Asked by: debe
Thank you for your inquiry. The plants have blooms or are in bloom at this time. The plant would be shipped in its black nursery pot when the delivery address is in Florida.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright flowers Really brightens the garden with red / yellow blooms. This plant does like the water though. Don't skimp on water with this plant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big, Beautiful, Vibrant This plants arrived as a small little green leafy plant. But after transferring them soil, within a week or two, they had grown tremendously and began to bloom! very bright flowers and so many! They held up very well in our hot weather and severe rain. Sprouted the following year around mid April, and seems to have come back bigger than the previous year. My only complaint is that it seems over winter something had burrowed in the garden somewhat near two I had planted, and they did not return after being so luscious all season :( I am sure the animal burrowing (probably small hare) had somehow killed off the root system. All other of my perennials returned but those two. But I do plan on buying more to replace them, though they are bit expensive to buy. But the look is worth it in the end.
