Product Overview

  • Bluish Purple Flowers From Spring to Fall
  • Plant in Evenly Moist Loamy Soils in Full Sun to Part Shade
  • Drought Tolerant
This early season bloomer adds a soft touch to any landscape. Finely textured foliage is silvery green and each leaf has a fuzzy, almost fern like texture. Flower buds have a woolly consistency and open up to reveal weeping, bell shaped, bluish purple flowers. Silvery seed heads follow the blossoms, adding to the continuous interest of this beauty.
  • A self seeding variety that will consistently reappear each year
  • From foliage to flower, a delicate plant that dances in the breeze
  • Once established, a rough tolerant plant
  • Long season of interest, from spring to summer to fall
  • Ships in 1 Gal. pot (contingent upon state/federal regulations)
  • Plant ships as a bare root plant with no soil and no pot when shipped to Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington
  • When shipped as a bare root plant, the Shake&Ship system will be used to remove soil from the roots, thus increasing the root tip surface area, which in turn, greatly enhances the ability of the plant to rapidly establish itself in the new environment
  • May ship in a dormant state, with bare branches and no leaves
  • To accommodate mature size or when planting in groups, space 12 in. away from other plants or structures
  • Performs best in plant growing zones 4 to 9, when grown in other zones, special care will be necessary
