Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Mountain Bluet plant grows 24 in. tall by 18 in. wide. In cool climates, the plant dies back in late fall and emerges again in spring. It is a perennial, meaning that it returns every year.

Howdy Tw,
Cenaurea Montana grows in:
USDA Zone 3a to Zone 8b. Iowa has zones from 4b-6a.
That means the Cenaurea will grow fine in Iowa.
Happy growing,
Coach Dave

Answer:
Hello, the Bluet needs cooler, moister temperatures to thrive. It is hardy within Zones 4-8 so central Florida is not an ideal growing region.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Disappointment Plants arrived in smaller than gallon size container as advertised. Plants (total of 3 kinds) were dead or dying when they arrived. June 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Going to try again! When I received this plant, it looked healthy enough. I planted it and nurtured it as I do my other plants and it bloomed beautifully. Then, it started to brown and died. Wish I'd known about HD's return policy, but I tossed the dead plant. I'm not giving up, though, because it did look beautiful while it lasted. Ordering another one today. Here's praying that this one lives! August 28, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product was delivered dead! I ordered 3 one gal. containers of Mountain Bluet plants. When I got them two of the plants was all most dead. all of the leaves where wilted. I planted all in a row. two are dead and 1 is doing good. So I got one out of three to take. That is reason it gets only one star May 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great shape This plant was in great shape when it arrived, young and without blossoms. I just planted it and am looking forward to watching it bloom. June 6, 2014
