Black berries follow the flowers. Extremely hardy plant for use as an edging, as a groundcover, as an accent, or in a container.

  • May ship in a dormant state, with no top growth at all
  • Performs best in plant growing zones 4 to 9, when grown in other zones, special care requirements will be required

Can I grow this indoors as a house plant? I read it was great for air purification and safe for dogs.
Asked by: SEBS
Hi, SEBS, yes, the Liriope is a tough plant that handles the indoor environment well along with purifying the air by removing ammonias. The plant prefers brighter sunlight, yet can grow in the less sunny duller light of the indoors too. It does not like dry air and will need to be planted in loose potting soil and regularly watered to keep soil moist. If the leaf tips start to brown, it is most likely that the air is too dry or that the soil is too wet.

Customer Reviews

1 gal. Big Blue Lily Turf Plant is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality plants These plants were sent in pots with newspaper to keep the soil moist. They were healthy plants and have withstood very dry conditions. I put them in the ground with the soil they were mailed in and have watered them nearly daily, but I went away for 5 days and found them thriving on their own when I returned home!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Arrived healthy and as advertised A little pricey compared to other places I looked, but the free delivery was key for me and ultimately made it worth it. The plants arrived healthy and as pictured on the website. No complaints. Two weeks later they are still doing well--let's hope it continues!
