Customer Questions & Answers

If I have sunshine on the Hosta in the morning hours, will the plant still thrive?

Asked by: Ree
I have had many hosta plants and it's very hard to kill them. They are gorgeous plants and they will thrive even with half sun and half shade. They will light up your garden with their streaks of white or yellow. If you live in the northeast right before the frost cut them down even with the ground. In the spring, they will grow back more luscious and beautiful. They will become your favorite plant and don't be afraid to dig out sections as they grow and transplant them to make more. It's very easy.

Is this plant deer resistant?

Asked by: milkywaylight
Browse Schmowse! The deer will leave you with stick plants. They LOVE hostas and can mow them down in one or two feedings!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from joke It came in bare root and it was only 2 inches and leaves were died!!! They need to put the right picture and stop misleading with their description!!!!! 2 inches tall AND 1 INCH WIDE AND ALMOST ALL LEAVES DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased With Purchase Plants were packaged well and arrived in good condition. We weren't sure if they would "take" as our home was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy and our soil was contaminated from the flood waters. All of our plants died that year and some of the replacement roses and other plants died the following spring. These plants have been in the ground for over a month now and are doing well.
