No special care is necessary for this sun loving, hardy plant, which seldom needs water, tolerate dry spells, and requires no pruning to retain it's shape. Sword like, blue leaves are stiffly erect and spreading. In summer, tall spikes of creamy white, bell shaped flowers stand well above the foliage, creating a stunning sight.

  • This plant ships as a bare root plant with no soil and no pot when shipped to Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington
  • When shipped as a bare root plant, the Shake and Ship system will be used to remove soil from the roots, thus increasing the root tip surface area, which in turn, greatly enhances the ability of the plant to rapidly establish itself in the new environment
  • Performs best in plant growing zones 4 to 9, when grown in other Zones, special care requirements will be required
  • To accommodate mature size or when planting in groups, space 3 ft. away from other plants or structures

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hope it stays as nice as it is now. Ready to order another one in the spring. I was so surprised to see how nice the plant was when i got it. I have alot of deer around my house and they can get very destructive so I have to be careful what I plant so let's hope they survive. September 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I am afraid it might die. I purchased this product b/c its reasonable price and I can pick it at local store. When I got it home, I found a good part of its root was cut. I guess they had to cut it to fit the shipping box. I planted it anyway in the hope that it might survive. Unfortunately, as the weather gets warmer, it looks like it probably will die. If so, too bad that I will have to start over again. May 1, 2013
