Product Overview

Non suckering, upright, large shrub with handsome, oval, forest green leaves. Primarily known for the profusion of rich pink flowers that open from wine red buds in spring. Versatile shrub useful for a wide variety of landscape situations such as a specimen, an accent, a privacy screen, a windbreak or hedge, near the foundation or even in the border bed.
  • Very attractive, showy, rich pink flower panicles in spring
  • Non suckering, excellent plant for an accent specimen
  • Exceptionally cold hardy, thriving all the way thru plant zone 2
  • Wonderful, lightly scented blooms are perfect for fresh flower bouquets
  • 2 gal. ships in pot unless state or federal regulations require otherwise
  • This plant ships as a bare root plant with no soil and no pot when shipped to Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington
  • When shipped as a bare root plant, the Shake and Ship system will be used to remove soil from the roots, thus increasing the root tip surface area, which in turn, greatly enhances the ability of the plant to rapidly establish itself in the new environment
  • Performs best in plant growing zones 2 to 7, when grown in other zones, special care will be necessary
  • To accommodate mature size or when planting in groups, space 3 ft. away from other plants or structures
  • May ship in a dormant state, with bare branches and no leaves, especially in early spring when plant has been pruned back to promote lateral branching
