I live in Miami, Florida, what are the chances to be successful with Lilac Shrubs?
Asked by: catherine
Hi catherine, I'm Travis from The Home Depot. Thanks for visiting our site. Lilacs are good performers in Climate Zones 3 through zone 7. That is an area made up of the northern third of the United States and lower Canada. Miami is in Zone 10 and is much too warm to successfully grow Lilacs in the landscape. Thank you for asking, -Travis

How tall are these plants when shipped?

I bought some at the local store for 49.99. I'd like some more of that size.
Asked by: S0uthpaw
Hello. These Lilac were cut back in late winter to promote lateral branching. The leaves are flushing now. There are several trunks and each are approximately 24-30 inches tall.

Customer Reviews

3 gal. Common Purple Lilac Shrub is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Small plants, high price I bought two of those, I couldn't find in stores. They were ok at arrival, however, very very small. I should have waited another week and find them in store for about $10 less and much bigger and healthier
