Product Overview

A hardy, upright tree with year round interest. The lance shaped leaves emerge in spring as a bright green hue, then change to golden yellow in autumn. After the leaves drop in fall, the curled nature of the bare, twisted and contorted branches brings winter interest to the landscape.

  • Primarily grown for its unusual, twisted, contorted branches
  • A unique tree for the landscape
  • Thrives in moist soils but tolerates drier soils as well
  • Corkscrew spiraled branches enhance floral arrangements
  • 1 gal. pot - state or federal regulations may require this plant to ship as a bare root plant, without pot and without soil
  • We're sorry, but due to state regulations, this plant cannot be shipped to Connecticut or Wisconsin
  • May ship in a dormant state, with bare branches and no leaves
  • Performs best in plant growing zones 5 to 8, when grown in other Zones, special care requirements will be required
  • To accommodate mature size or when planting in groups, space 10 ft. away from other plants or structures
  • When shipped as a bare root plant, the Shake & Ship system has been used to remove soil from roots

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by update 6 foot tree Adding a picture to show quality approx 6 foot tree I recieved from Home Depot. Impressive and could not beat the price!! The willow tree I recieved is in the little pot sitting a litle in front of the others. August 9, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice trees Trees arrived in healthy condition in pots and even included the stakes. Was impressed with the 2nd Day Air shipping. October 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Corkscrew Willow I get lots of compliments on my 30 foot corkscrew willow but they all say I thought it was supposed to be a 7-10 foot bush like tree. I began trimming it more like a crape myrtle and it kept growing. After 12 years it has really soared with a nice crow of shade. The ice storm did some damage but it recovered easily and now mostly self prunes every winter by dropping smaller branches that need to be raked throughout the winter. Highly recommend this draught tolerant shade tree. Guy March 17, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by disappointed The description said 48 in. The tree is actually a twig. I figured 4' would be somewhat substantial. We were totally taken aback. But it's growing. July 3, 2013
