Customer Questions & Answers

Can this be used after the valve?

What is considered "main line"? I have two valves. One for each side of my yard, each with 4-6 sprinklers. Each valve has a 1" line that connects the valve from across the yard to the to the smaller sprinkler lines. They are both needing to be re-routed. Can this be used since there is only pressure in the lines when the sprinklers are running?
Asked by: DryYard
The main line is the line that is under constant pressure, that goes to your irrigation solenoid valve. The pipes after that valve, are not under constant pressure (only pressure when system is running). This product is only for use after the irrigation control valve, where the line is only pressurized for short times.

Outside diameter

Is the Outside diameter of this the same as rigid 1 inch pvc? I want to cut a section out and glue it into 1 inch pvc fittings. Thanks.
Asked by: Jim
Jim, this pipe is designed for push-fit connections with rigid PVC pipe that you have cut to the right gap length. The flexible pipe itself was not built to be cut or glued.

Customer Reviews

1 in. Flexible PVC Pipe is rated 2.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor product but horrible customer service One end of the pipe fitting completely separated from it's body after a month. No it was not under pressure all the time but only when sprinkler system switched on once a week. To top it off Home depot store declined to accept the return claiming it was now an online only product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A real time and effort saver. It works and works well! If you need to fix an irrigation system (broken pipe) this is the easiest way to do it. A bit expensive but a real time saver and the system can be turned on at completion (no need to let glue dry).
