Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Lefty66 I have had a Orbits ( 4 station ) for 6 years. The new one is much easier to program.
The new Orbits 4station is so easy to program and set up. I've had 4stations set up in my back yard for 6 years now. I bought the new one because the valves on the old one where leaking and the screen was hard to read. It still works and I'll use it for 2stations out front. I was very pleased at the new programming format. It's very easy. I have good hoses running along the bricks in my flower beds and a few underground about 1inch to areas with no borders. This work great and I never have to move hoses or remember to turn the water on or off.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Joel Great product; wish I discovered it earlier
I bought 2 of these plus the extra valves - one for the front yard and one for the back yard.
Simple programming and once you understand the product limitations, works like a dream. The key thing is that all stations have to follow the same day watering schedule but you can change the time on each station.
I have 2 valves set up for watering the lawn and 2 set up for drip systems and once they are set up, you literally can forget about them. For a very low cost per setup(including the 2 extra valves), you are getting the majority of the benefits of an in -ground sprinkler system.
Big time saver, efficient watering times.
Plus, a 6 year warranty on a $50 product!

This is a great timer and wish I known about it earlier in the season. My lawn around the house was brown and patchy in spots and other areas was growning faster. I would water the lawn but either forget to turn the water on or worse I forget to turn it off and flood mine and my neighbor's yard. I am using a drip system and 4 pulsing sprinklers on spikes and dug out some of my old hoses out of the shed. I spaced the sprinklers out so it would cover the yard and with a pair of sissors and replacement ends for the hoses, I made custom length hoses so there isn't any extra hoses laying around. I set the timer for an hour for the drip system and 30 minutes for each of the 2 zones for the sprinklers. The fourth connector is used strickly for a hose with a fire man nozzle and with the valves on the end, I can use the hose anytime without disconnecting the timer. Now the lawn looks even and greener. If you're on a budget, and want an automatic sprinkler system, I would recomend this.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0Â by JEFF Good timer for up to 4 zones and three differnt time sets
I do not have enough water pressure for all the areas that I need to water, back, front and vegetable garden. The unit was pretty easy to setup. It only comes with attachments for two zones. I had to purchase another. Home depot has the going price on the unit, but I found a better price for the additional attachment. Make sure you open the valves on the end to let the water flow.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by SherlockHO Practical and easy way to water the lawn without looking
This is replacing a similar unit I had used for the last 3 seasons. I made the mistake of not bringing in the controls for the winter and the old unit cracked. Easy installation, same unit, but updated - using the two new valves plus 2 that are 3 years old - compatible
