Sprinkler base is not heavy enough to support unit or keep unit upright when watering lawn. Also, hard to set watering pattern. Did not last more than a month. The plastic hose attachment is a swaged fitting and came loose. When this happened, I tossed the unit into my trash can and started using my old sprinkler. Do not waste your time and money with this sprinkler. Definitely not up to Home Depot standards. Maybe someone in management will read this review so that this item can be permanently removed from the stores since it is of such poor quality and performance.

The sprinkler head is fine. No adjustments possible but it works great. The plastic base is very light, but it seems to be strong enough to do the job. It doesn't move from one location to another very well, my hose is too stiff and the sprinkler is too light to work well by dragging. Picking the sprinkler up and moving it be hand works just fine.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DeliCounterSam Adequate for large areas. Not for watering short wide beds.
This is a decently built pulse sprayer with one notable limitation. It works well on large areas such as a lawn, where distance and coverage are important. But the set screw used to limit the distance of the spray is not well designed. It doesn't really limit spray distance all that much, even when the screw is tightened to the stop, and as a result doesn't put a lot of water close in to the sprayer. Depending on your needs, this could be a problem.
Think of trying to water a large bed area up against the house that's wide, but only 8 feet deep. No matter where I put this, the sprayer will shoot a lot of water on the house, a lot on the sidewalk in front of the bed area, and a lot on the lawn in front of that. There was nothing I could do to make it work the way better sprayers do. A wider adjustment screw (or a tapered metal dowel attached to a screw) that could screw in further would have solved this problem.
I did not recommend this, simply because I find that many people want a pulse sprayer to be reasonably versatile, and a better design would have added pennies to the cost. That doesn't mean that it's not for you. I actually needed a sprinkler to cover large areas (such as under tree canopies) during drought conditions. Here, this product did the job and my beds are small enough to water by hand. So, if ALL you need is a pulse sprayer that will cover large areas, this will work at a reasonable cost. But, if you a need a sprinkler that can cover different sized and shaped areas, this is not the product to buy.

The connector to the hose broke off second time i used it. Very weak design. You can pop it back on but will continue to come apart every time you handle it. Don't recommend buying it.

I have purchased 2 of these sprinklers in the past year. You think the price is great at $10.00 but it doesn't work. The first one worked well for a while. Went to use it this season and it doesn't work. Went and bought another one and took it right out of the box and hooked up the hose to it. It travels one way but doesn't return. Needless to say it is going right back. Inferior product. Do not recommend.
