Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect tool for good price I was replacing the main shutoff valve to my house. I bought this tool to close the street valve at the water meter. It's perfect tool for the job, for a good price. Remember to turn 180 degree to close the value(or until the holes align), not 90 degree. April 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute must have for any plumber or home owner or anyone that uses water. Makes turning off the water main a simple task. Especially useful when replacing old sink valves. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect fit Perfect fit for water main in my california home. The top "T" can be used to pull up the heavy street cover and the wrench part fit flawlessly on the 1980 water main shut off/on valve. A smaller hardware store closer to me only had an expensive 25 dollar wrench and as i did not feel like being ripped off i went to H Depot for the basic 8 buck model, it's all i needed. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by it needs a thicker handle It turned the valve after some added elbow grease but did the job. The handle and shaft are both the same stock a little to thin for the length you can see it twist a little. I was working with a 37 year old valve that was buried for who knows how long. It worked but needed a lot of support. The fork end began to flex aswell. Newer valves that have seen light and some maintenance should work fine with this. March 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Handy tool Need this handy tool. Did not know it was available to the general public. March 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Did the job Used it a couple of times on our main while replacing some leaky hose bibs and water pipe, seems like pretty light weight steel, but worked just fine and kept my hands away from the Black Widow camping out near the valve, and worked well to smash said Black Widow. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great, perfect size for what I needed. Home Depot offered two sizes for this product. The other one was too large for the specific job, however, was exactly the size I borrowed from a neighbor. I am glad they had the smaller version. Price was good and quality was great.
