Easy to install and simple to operate. Installation was so easy even a child could do it The price was right were I wanted it to be and the instructions were easy to follow. By doing it myself saved me a lot of money. I have since purchase another one and installed it for them and showerd them how easy it is to ionstall.

Never last long. The warranty is that you call in with what's wrong and they send you the parts to fix it yourself. Opened the envelope with scissors and cut the diaphram in two.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Garbage. Stay Away!! 40% failure rate
I needed to replace the previous water master anti siphon valves so I went to Home Depot. Orbit is a direct replacement for my old valves. Despite the negative reviews I thought if they were a direct replacement it would be an easy fix. (Orbit is the only maker with the small width between the pipes, all others are wider). I put 5 valves in. 3 work correctly. 2 leak profusely from the actuator. Absolutely terrible quality control. I really wanted to buy American made products by these valves are JUNK! I'm going back to Champion or Lawn Genie. Cutting pipe is much more appealing than dealing with garbage valves.

In the past I installed several of these valves and never had a problem with them. The last and final time I installed them in a house they kept cracking right at the seam in the valve where threaded inlet and outlet is. I thought that I might be over tightening them but I was able to spin them off by hand (without using a wrench). Spend a few dollars more and get a better brand. After returning these to Home Depot I bought four Hunter valves and the install went great. The plastic on the Hunter valves is much thicker.

Don't bother with this valve, get one of better quality.
I replaced three 3/4" Orbit Model # 57223 valves I installed 12 years ago, with Model # 57623 3/4" valves. One of the old valves had a slow leak and a second valve wouldn't open (even after replacing the diaphragm and spring).
The anti-siphon on the new valves chatter and will not lock in place unless some of the existing sprinkler heads are closed. Appears that the new design requires more back pressure to operate. This is in a small yard with 6 sprinkler heads 4 (1/4 spray), two (1/2 spray) that have low flow rates. I had to turn off two of the heads to get the anti-siphon valve to stay closed. The second valve feeds four heads and can barely close the anti-siphon after 15-30 seconds of chattering and leaking. Third valve is on a drip line with low rate of flow - no issues.
The valves do have the same spacing for water supply and outflow as the old valves which made replacement simpler, and they connected to the same controller.
I do not like the design change for the solenoid placement or operation on the 57623 . It requires twisting the solenoid (unscrewing the threaded solenoid until the valve opens). The old 57223 design with the lever for manual operation was better, and so was the placement of the solenoid on the outside of the valve.

I bought this to replace an earlier model that is no longer available. This is the only one i can find with the correct port spacing. I installed it easily and it works fine. It is too esrly to comment on quality.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DoItOver Brand new but forces rework
installed three units in mid-august 2014. Valve seeping profusely on one unit as of 9/8/2014. Less than a month in use. Extremely disappointing. Rework is wasted time and money. How much will these units cost me?
