I'm pretty sure this is a standard hose shut-off. The threads of the sill cock (spigot) and the threads of the hose end fittings of 1/2" 5/8" and 3/4" garden hose are all the same.

Answer:
This is for a standard water hose fitting. It is 3/4" male on one side and 3/4" female on the other. Hose sizes can be different, but if you are using what is typically referred to as a Garden Hose (most common are 3/4, 5/8. or 1/2"), it will have the typical 3/4 inch thread.

Answer:
I've never seen one - hose connectors are GHT - garden hose thread - just over an inch, even with different size hoses, so you shouldn't need one for any U.S hose. Different connector for Europe - no surprise. There are shutoffs for 1/2 inch and other copper and plastic water lines, however, that you might jury-rig based on your application

Answer:
We do not. Standard hose thread is 3/4 inch and this is compatible with that standard size. However, there are hose-to-pipe fittings that could be used to adapt to this shut-off coupling. Type hose-to-pipe fittings in the homedepot.com search bar to find the appropriate fittings.
Thanks!

Answer:
I would suggest bringing the fitting to Home Depot or any local hardware store and they should be able to hook you up with the correct size screw. If you want the screw to be more secure, buy a small tube of Loctite thread locker.

Answer:
I've had the same problem. I use these for my business and I have over a dozen of these with missing screws and lever. It is a poor design. The best fix is to remove the little screw and apply a thread lock like Loctite and screw it back in.

Answer:
Bob, this screw size is M0.5 thread pitch at a 5.5mm length. If it keeps coming loose, then the best course of action would probably be to get a new coupling. Please give our Support team a call at 1-800-488-6156, and we'd be happy to send you a replacement. Thanks!

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 110 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than the plastic valve This little gem replaced the plastic shut-off valve that lasted about 6 months before it cracked and was useless. This one is all brass body, so should last a lot longer. However, the handle is plastic, so I expect that to be the weak link. The handle is held by a single small screw at its pivot point; that screw can come loose with multiple turns. Just watch and tighten it now and then. If it gets loose, you may never find it again due to its tiny size. This unit has a nice feature in that the female connector rotates separately from the body, allowing you to keep the handle in a desired position without turning the whole thing while attaching to the end of a hose. I've had it only a couple of weeks so far, and it hasn't leaked at all. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fine! It's fine, just what I would expect from this type of hose attachment! August 16, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Could use some work Tightening a hose to this fitting has proven to be difficult. Other than putting a wrench against the plastic lever, there is no way to get the coupling to stop dripping. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by inconsistent quality parts The guts of this are good but the thumb handle is small, poorly attached and prone to falling off leaving you with a valve that is useless without a handle. August 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by garden hose brass shut off coupling Nice tight seal with smooth and easy shut off action. I am using at the watering end just before the nozzle. Really handy and works great. August 9, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I was looking for a shutoff valve to place on my hose as I have a fixed stream nozzle and this one worked out great! July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well built Unlike many products today, this works well and appears to be sturdily constructed. It's also very convienent to swap tools without walking back to the faucet. August 3, 2016
