Answer:
This is for a standard water hose fitting. It is 3/4" male on one side and 3/4" female on the other. Hose sizes can be different, but if you are using what is typically referred to as a Garden Hose (most common are 3/4, 5/8. or 1/2"), it will have the typical 3/4 inch thread.

Answer:
I've never seen one - hose connectors are GHT - garden hose thread - just over an inch, even with different size hoses, so you shouldn't need one for any U.S hose. Different connector for Europe - no surprise. There are shutoffs for 1/2 inch and other copper and plastic water lines, however, that you might jury-rig based on your application

Answer:
We do not. Standard hose thread is 3/4 inch and this is compatible with that standard size. However, there are hose-to-pipe fittings that could be used to adapt to this shut-off coupling. Type hose-to-pipe fittings in the homedepot.com search bar to find the appropriate fittings.
Thanks!

Answer:
I've had the same problem. I use these for my business and I have over a dozen of these with missing screws and lever. It is a poor design. The best fix is to remove the little screw and apply a thread lock like Loctite and screw it back in.

Answer:
Bob, this screw size is M0.5 thread pitch at a 5.5mm length. If it keeps coming loose, then the best course of action would probably be to get a new coupling. Please give our Support team a call at 1-800-488-6156, and we'd be happy to send you a replacement. Thanks!

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 94 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does what it's supposed to do I was looking for a way to stop water flow without returning to the garage to turn the spigot. I connected two hoses with this between them and was easily able to stop the flow of water in the yard at this coupling without returning to the garage each and every time I wanted to stop the water. There were no leaks at all at the point where the hoses were connected. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Great Well made works perfectly. I had a leak on an outdoor faucet and was going out of town that afternoon. This was a great temporary fix. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect pressure Our faucet is 125' from our garden. With this fitting we can adjust the flow for just the right amount of water. Simply attach to end of hose and attach favorite wand. Easy to adjust and doesn't leak June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cross threaded. My porter cross threaded the end of my hoses. These also have a water regulator. You can turn it off or just down. It keeps us from going back and forth to regulate the water. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great This item definitely works great! No leaks, no complaints June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Alternative Great alternative to standard hose nozzles. It also protects the hose threads for future use. Positive shutoff right where you need it. June 14, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great untill the handle breaks off These are great to have if you need to regularly change the device on the end of the hose. They should make spare handles since I have 4 of these with broken handles from dropping the hose when your done with it. June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Might last 10 years Better constructed than those cheap aluminuim one's that fail in 2 years. June 14, 2016
