Are you able to control the direction of the spray?

For example if I only want to spray out of one side (180 degrees instead of 360) can it do that?
Asked by: edk012
you can loosen and tighten the spray nozzel and it allows you to do half, quarter or full circle. but that means you have to pay attention to how you lay them out. I have mine next to the house and use a half circle spray for the grass.

The 3 spray units are so lightweight that they don't stay planted in position once water pressure is delivered through the hose. It should come with stakes, but it did not. Further, it only produces a mist, even when adjusted to the highest volume of water. Therefore, it would be more applicable for plant beds than it is for watering a lawn. I ended up throwing it away after the first use. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing This set of sprinklers fell well short of the product description and my expectations. Regardless of the delivery hose size, none if the three sprinklers mustered a circle of water larger than an 8 foot diameter and as small as a 5 foot diameter. Not a lot if sprinkle to it at that rate either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor performance left us high and dry The product did not meet the package claims. Each sprinkler was said to be adjustable out to a 30 foot radius but did not exceed a 10 foot radius in reality. We tried every setting and have great water pressure. I would not buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from for the money, it's just fine I was hesitant to buy this sprinkler set up after reading the reviews here. First thing you have to do is take a pair of pliers and tighten down the BASE of these little sprinkler heads or the entire head will unscrew. That's why people are leaving bad feedback. Tighten the sprinkler base collar into the base first. Then you can adjust the spray area, then take a small screwdriver and adjust the flow with the top center screw. Remember, tighten the sprinklers base collar into the housing before you do anything. Once you use them for a minute, they will lay down where you want them, if not grab a few sprinkler spikes from the rain bird section or something like that to hold them in place.. They put out A LOT of water. I like em!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MH Great low pressure sprinkler. I set it up along my sidewalk doing a half circle on each sprinkler and watered a 45 foot stretch, 15 feet deep along my sidewalk. I then set it up running down the center of the lawn with a full circle setting on each sprinkler and it watered a strip 45 feet long by 15 feet wide. measurements are approximate. I'm going to buy another one for my back yard. Make sure you read the directions, use common sense and it will work good.

Twist adjustment not definitive enough since it is just a wedge design. Can easily turn wrong way and spray radius control does not function as expected. Spray doesn't go necessarily where you think it should. You have to twist and turn the hose to point the spray in the desired direction. In addition cannot be adjusted while sprinkler is running as with a normal sprinkler head. Water pressure against twist adjuster does not turn while running. Radius cannot be adjusted while sprinkler is running. Poor design. Interchangeable heads on older versions was much more efficient. Picture of sprinkler is slightly misleading as well. Picture shows brass or metal ends to hoses and current design is light weight plastic that is easily broken if stepped on. Does not come with metal ends.

I like these sprinklers because they can be moved around to reach tough areas. The downfall is that the water pressure on the last sprinkler is a bit lame, so it's best not to have all of them on full blast. I did have trouble with one sprinkler and had to return it, and Home Depot was great about the return process. The packaging is a bit difficult when opening it, almost everything fell out.

Made of cheapest plastic imaginable. Went in with low expectations, considering the price point, was still dissapointed. Returned the next day. Hoses seemed decent, even though one end of one hose wasn't crimped. The entire and piece just fell off of the hose and shot away once there was water in it. Spend some more money and get something useful.
