This is simply a diaphragm pump in a case, you must have good pressure going in, and the boost is not that great, but probably decent for most applications if matched correctly with the right misting line and nozzles. Don't wast your time trying to match fittings to integrate into another system. This simply has the push type fittings in and out.

Like one of the other reviewers, I could not attached the tubing to the pump. She was given a very vague answer with links that don't work. After wasting way too much time searching the internet for the solution to no avail, I returned the pump and the kit to Lowes. The instructions that come with the product are a joke. Perhaps there was something missing from the box, but it looked like it was factory sealed. If there are connectors that need to be purchased separately you should mention it, and it they are included you should show a picture of them on the instructions so that at least the buyer will know that something is missing. What a waste of my time!

Definitely makes a finer mist leaving the patio less wet. However we returned it because the noise level with the pump running made sitting outside unbearable.

The wife and I just got done erecting a greenhouse and have been experimenting on how to keep it cool during the recent heatwave we have been having in central Texas. Inside the greenhouse has been reaching temperatures of up to 120*. I installed just the Pro system without the booster pump and it dropped the temperature about 10* in almost 30 minutes, but drenched the plants. After installing the booster pump, it would only take about 15 minutes to drop the temperature almost 30*. Definitely get a pressure gauge and pressure reducer for the inlet pressure. My house has almost 90psi of water pressure and it was constantly popping off the slip-lok connectors. The system seems to works best between 30-40psi. Home Depot had the best price for this pump that I could find.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by snookerbar this made the difference to eliminate wet sidewalks
Prior to installing this pump, the sidewalks outside my business would get wet. Now the mist evaporated and sidewalks are dry. The quick connect pump installed in about 30 minutes and I needed to drill through stucco to install indoors to prevent theft. Works great.
I would recommend that you have the nozzles a minimum of 8 feet high for proper evaporation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bampa Amped up the misting system!
Purchased the booster pump for our patio misting system. So impressed! It really made a huge difference on our 30' patio! Without the pump the patio would get wet from the heavier "mist." Not a problem now as the mist is truly fine. No need for more psi...this is perfect for the backyard patio! Bring on those 3 digit temps!
