I have installed numerous Orbit manifolds. After years of having to make them from scratch this is a real step forward. Generally they work well. A few cautions:
I have not found that you can just "hand-tighten" the big plastic nuts and be water tight. They now mention using plumber's tape on the fittings. This is highly recommended. The rubber "O" rings are very fragile so be very careful when attaching the valves or other fittings. If the plastic recess the "O" rings are seated in gets deformed in the attachment process you could damage the ring or the ring may come out. I've used petroleum jelly to keep the rings in, but still have to be very careful. In general, a good product if used carefully.

I am on my fourth manifold. They last about 6 months then begin to leak on the seams. Unfortunately there is no other replacement.

When I put in my sprinkling system 30 years ago the pre-made manifold was not available, I had to glue up my own with pvc pipe and fittings. This manifold saves so much time and struggle. If something goes wrong with a valve, it is easy to replace individually. I highly recommend it.

Ordered this part thinking I could just replace it with my cracked manifold. Well guess what? The part does not come with any connectors and so I had to order the connectors as well. After speaking with customer service about the parts to make sure they were the right ones, I ordered them. When I got the parts they fit the manifold but did not work with the valves that I have. All this after confirming with the company the product I have. Seems like Home Depot should keep parts in stock or not change parts so things work properly. I ended up speaking to a really intelligent worker at Home Depot who showed me how to put together a make-shift manifold using pvc parts sold at the store. And it was way cheaper and works great.
