Product Overview

Ideal for use in residential and commercial landscapes, This 6 in. sprinkler handles the most intricately designed, high maintenance areas with ease. The sprinkler is easy to adjust even when the water is on. The adjustable pattern nozzle allows you to place water exactly where you want, keeping it off sidewalks, buildings and driveways. The sprinkler offers a molded, pressure activated wiper seal that stops excessive flow-by and cleans the stem upon completion of watering. The factory installed dual-port flush plug provides for easy clean out and easy access to nozzle installation. The sprinkler body attaches to a 1/2 in. pipe thread riser for easy installation. The riser stem female-threaded nozzles are compatible with most brands.

  • For medium size yards - spaced 10 ft. to 15 ft. apart
  • Easy to adjust nozzles (25-360°)
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel spring assures complete sprinkler retraction
  • Ratchet feature allows easy spray direction adjustment

Answer:
Doug, if you look underneath the head of the nozzle, you should see beige-colored tabs. Adjust those tabs to change the pattern (in terms of degrees, not distance) of the spray. To adjust the spray distance, look down at the top of the head. Turn the center screw clockwise to tighten/lessen the spray distance, while counterclockwise rotation of the screw will result in greater distance of spray. Read More

Answer:
steve, if you want to use the side inlet - which, to be clear, is not for use with a garden hose - you have two options. You can either plug the bottom inlet (the plug that comes installed in the side inlet would suffice) or you can install an auto-drain, which would be a separately purchased product. Should you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to our Support team at Read More

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed These 6" pop-ups were to replace impact sprinklers that were no longer needed...we removed our grass for a water-wise landscape with native, drought tolerant plants...since these are adjustable we are able to put as much coverage or as little as desired based on plant locations...these pop-ups are just not very good quality...we installed 5 total and #3 and #5 are not working correctly...they are not "sealing" when the 6" pop-up is pressurized by the water-pressure...they are leaking near the base so we are getting as much or more volume of water coming out of the base as we are from the nozzle itself...leaving a puddling mess around the device when it finishes...I went to the store but the employees had no clue what they were talking about...it's NOT a water pressure issue because I moved the order of installation around and when I did, the same two leaked no matter which number position they were in...I finally went down and bought two more to replace the defective ones...one of the new ones is doing the same thing and the other isn't perfect, but acceptable....I even tried adjusting the pressure at the valve (up...made it worse and down wouldn't push the pop-up all the way up)...I suspect there's a simple "fix" but the guys working in your plumbing (or is it irrigation?) department really didn't seem to know what they are talking about. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good replacement good replacement pop up sprinkler head. Seems to be functioning well at this time. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect replacement These nozzles are the exact and direct replacements for the original sprinkler heads/ nozzles in our irrigation system. They install quickly and easily, and require basically no maintenance. I just need the lawn service to stop chopping any of them off with deck settings too law on their equipment. June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Home Irragation Made Easy The pop up adjustable nozzle was a quick and easy install. Works great. November 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by That'll work fine As most all adjustable sprinkler heads, I wish there was an easier way to set the adjustment. Somewhat of a trial-by-error method. July 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good product. Installed 6 of this sprinkle, easily adjust nozzle to any degree but water spraying is too much. August 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This produce was the size I was looking for. I like the selection of sprinkler heads at Home Depot. They carry the brand Rain Bird. June 3, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by They leak I bought two and both leaked from the center popup. April 29, 2014
