I bought this system at Home Depot, but one of the valves is not working; I need a replacement but can't seem to find one for Orbit Automatic Watering System Model 56905.

Answer:
Usually it works for a while, then it starts to lean, then it stops working. Sometimes they leak immediately, but at least then you can return it.

Answer:
Yes , and it was the most expensive one and that is why I bought it thinking that it would last a while but it was good only the first week.

Answer:
If your existing valves are gray in color, the valves currently being sold by Home Depot should work. The white valves with a headphone like plug are no longer replaceable.

Can you tell me what voltage this product is? I am looking for a valve for the Orbit #91896 timer (24v) that I bought from you a few years ago.

Answer:
Hi John,
This valve is not compatible with your timer. This valve plugs into a timer that operates on two (2) AA batteries. You need a typical 24 volt sprinkler valve also sold at Home Depot.

Answer:
Hi John. The Yard Watering Valve (27987) is meant to be used with a hose-end timer. The 24 volt valve is meant to be used with the Indoor/Outdoor Timer (91896) is a Orbit WaterMaster valve (91103). Thanks for the question.

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Short lifespan I've used the 4-station Orbit system for a couple years. Last year, 1 of 4 valves failed, i.e. stuck closed, while we were on vacation, and we lost a portion of our garden. This year, 2 more valves have failed, i.e. stuck closed. And, replacement valves don't seem to be available, at least not locally. June 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Fails quickly Bought the complete system. One valve started leaking after 2 weeks. I had the same system in an older version and they started leaking after one year. I thought the newer one would be of better quality. It was worse. If you like to replace items a lot then this is the product for you. May 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by takes the hassle out of watering We bought them to replace a single zone timer which was meeting out new needs as we installed some new flower beds. This thing has worked flawlessly for us and no leaks. You just have to be careful and use common sense when setting it up. DO use the bracket which comes with it to help support the "T" bar and the pay attention when putting the valves on to not over tighten them. They have a good seal if tightened appropriately. Our system came with two valves and after I was sure I could get it installed with no leakage, I bought two more valves. No problems and has made our flowerbeds very happy. June 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality and reliability! Have used many over several years - Non have failed yet! April 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Timer Valve Great product. I've been told to not let it freeze. December 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Take Your Gardening To The Next Level Watering the proper amount, early in the morning is important to your garden. This valve along with the timer and associated drip irrigation products make it all possible. Watering by hand invites uneven watering, only when it's convenient for me (which is never at 4 AM). This little valve connects to the timer and manifold - my system can have up to four zones each with different watering schedules. So I can water my shade garden less often than the main garden which is in full sun and drains better. I did common sense stuff like using Teflon tape for the water connections - and viola, no leaks. I remove the battery and take the whole set up in the house for the winter. And it runs reliably, this is my 3rd season. I recommend this product and the whole concept of automated watering. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by good product Saved me the cost of installing a professional sprinkler system. August 19, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy product, leaks I have had three units leak then fail. Very cheaply constructed. Then you are left with a dilemma: buy yet another valve because you've invested in the main unit or start all over. And with what? Home Depot doesn't have an alternative system. May 18, 2014
