Answer:
Yes, it may be easier to use screws and 3/8th in cable ties rather than the supplied nail hanging clamps.

Answer:
The additional Orbit pressure pack will do up to 125 feet of misters, you could purchase the T-fitting and split the line in 2 directions to keep max pressure to all nozzles, but only going 50 feet the pressure pack (160 psi) should have no problem even in a straight line. No additional special fittings are needed to combine multiple packs of the Professional kit.

Answer:
This comes with everything that you need to connect multiple 12' units together. You will need the pump sold on home depot's website if you are trying to connect a bunch of units together. I think you are fine with just regular hose pressure connecting 4 kits together. I have 2 connected to just my hose and it works great.

Answer:
Hello this is Tangelo from the Home Depot Community!
No special fittings, just similar to the ones in the kit. in regards to water pressure, the average home water pressure 40 - 60psi, this unit will work fine with pressure at the low end.
I hope this helps, if you have any more questions you can find me on our website at community.homedepot.com

Answer:
With the Professional kit, the feeder line is Ten feet. The pieces go together to cover 12 feet of misting area, one mister per 2 feet. It makes it a lot easier to also buy the optional 20 foot line for about 8 dollars to get extra length.

Answer:
The supply line is 10 ft. It comes with six 2 ft. lines that are connected by fittings. In total, there is 10 ft. of supply line and 12 feet of mist tubing. Thanks for the question.

Customer Reviews

Professional 12 ft. Outdoor Misting Kit-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonably Good The following review is for the Orbit Professional Misting system. Though the box comes with 5 misters, enough for 10 ft., my patio set up has 14 nozzels, fully wrapping around my patio. I purchased 4 additional nozzels and a T-junction from my local home improvement store. The t-connector allows for evenly spread water pressure throughout the line, otherwise the 14th nozzle would have a good amount less than the 1st. Installation: It's best to connect all the lines together before nailing them up, the nozzels perform best when angled about 30 degrees away from the patio, the pressure relief valve must be located in low point (usually the tube inbetween the first nozzel and the source hose. The pre-cut hoses require a fair amount of force to get properly seated. The first several times I turned it on a hose or the end plug would pop out. Wrapping the end of the hose and pushing it back into the brass slip-joint fixed this, but I did have to do it for several sections. Performance: Having used the misters for about a week in 80-100 degree Phoenix heat, I can confidently comment on the misters cooling ability. They perform best when wind is at a minimum, about 10mph and they're basically useless. When there is little to no breeze, they lower the temp inside my patio about 10 degrees when measured 3 feet above ground level. I do notice that there is a distinct temperature difference from ground level (coolest), to standing height. As far as I can tell, I have pretty standard hose water pressure, and this is enough to shoot a cone of mist from 8ft high to about 2ft high (when the wind is very calm). The misters do drip, about 4 drops/20 min from both the nozzel and where the hose connects into the brass slip-joint, leaving the ground below wet. This is really not an issue for me. When the water source is turned off, the pressure relief valve seems to do a good job, shooting out a stream of about 12oz of water from the line above. This is important because it prevents the misters from getting clogged from hard water build up. Summary: As long as your not expecting a dramatic difference, these are reasonably effective at making your home patio more comfortable. I can't say for certain, but I'm not really convinced that the "Professional" series from Orbit is worth the extra cost and installation effort compaired with their "Basic" line, wich could easily be enhanced with the pressure relief valve mentioned above.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Simple to assemble and install. I like the brass nozzles. Rather than buy the base system and the add-on, I bought two systems - it was cheaper than buying the piece parts and better quality than the plastic nozzled add-on. I barely have to open the line to get a great mist - this will definitely save money on water. I like the ability to expand if I need to. Very happy with the system.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from PVC disintegrates outdoors Easy to install, works well for 2-3 years. Then the PVC begin to crack where it has been bent to go around corners. After 6-7 years all the PVC has disintegrated. Just understand that you'll probably get 5-6 years of mostly trouble-free usage. The misters themselves need to be cleaned abouit every 6 months. Soak in vinegar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product. . .once it's put together correctly. . . Once all the kinks were worked out, this is a great product. It took a while to get it put together to the point where it did not leak. Just be patient and you'll get your money's worth from the product. It doesn't use much water, I barely have to turn the water on to get a good mist. We used it on the 4th of July, the hottest day of the year, and it kept us cooler. Of course, we all looked like drowned rats. . .but it was worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for those hot days! I bought 2 professional units and put up 13 total misters on my deck, (bought extra nozzles to also use the auto drain as a mister.) Works adequate just under hose pressure, but added the optional 160psi pressure pack and now have a professional-looking mister system that puts out a fog like mist. Product works great here in Arizona, I highly recommend buying 3/8 cable holders to use with this product especially into wood or drywall, Enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product We love the mister. We are in an RV Park in Houston where the heat is unbearable. The mister helps a lot. It is noteworthy to mention, however, the wind will always be a factor as we are in an RV and the mister is attached to our awning. We are glad we purchased this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as the review would have you believe After searching online for a patio mister, I settled on this product after reading the reviews. Luckily I bought 2 because this product is not sold in stores and if not for the second hose connector (which is plastic and broke the first time I connected the hose to it) I would not have been able to use the mister for the party I was having. Also, the hole was not punched out in one of the drain connectors where you screw in the drain attachment. Again, having a second unit solved that problem. Lastly, reviews recommended buying the pump to increase pressure. A problem that I have had with Home Depot mail order before is that you can get an item that was returned by someone else. That was clearly the case with the pump that was sent to me. When I opened the box, I immediately saw that the unit was broken. I sent it back and am waiting for a refund. The pump was not necessary for operation. I am recommending this product only because I don't know of another option and this one was cheap enough that you can buy 2 to have extra parts.
