I understand how to adjust the arc and distance but how do I adjust WHERE the sprinkler sprays?

I don't want to dig it back up and un-thread it some to get it to face the "right" way.

Read the directions, which are under the label on the body.

Whats the Gallons per minute rate on this head?
Asked by: sillygardener
Depends on your water flow and pressure. I am currently getting about 2.75 gallons per head but I believe they state the range from 1 to 3 gallons.

What size poly pipe works with this head?

Asked by: Slim
I am using a header at 1.5 inches and my runs with 1/2" poly pipe. I am pulling from my pond with a dedicated pump so my header MAY be bigger than you would need but the 1/2" should be fine for the runs.

An inexpensive replacement for the originals that were installed in my yard. These are also much easier to adjust that their more costly brethren. Only drawback was the need for a downsize adapter since (in my case) the in-ground system used a larger diameter pipe. Longevity is yet to be determined, but at the MUCH lower cost, I'm not sure I care. These also have a removable filter - a very nice feature if your well water sometimes picks up some debris - clogging the filter. (The expensive variety it's replacing also has a filter, but it can't be removed - ergo the need to flush them out periodically (a real pain in the neck!).

I first replaced 8 of the older version of these that had been in my yard for about 15 years with another major brand of pop-ups. They were problematic in that they would stick down and were very unreliable (my water pressure is 55 lbs.) so I changed to these and all is good, no problems at all. These are easy to set & put out a flatter, wider stream of water with better coverage.

Specifically after a period of time <> 3 months the sprinkler can no longer be adjusted for arc. Only 360 degrees is functional. I had liked the sprinkler for the ease of setting arc and distance, but they don't last. Save your money and buy a more reliable sprinkler!

Setup was as simple as unscrewing the old sprinkler and then then screwing this new one in. Setting sweep and type of spray was accomplished with 2 screws and took about 5 minutes to dial in.

It would be convenient if there were an additional nozzle or two included (rather than expensive and purchased separately) so that the spray could be better tailored to suit varying conditions.

They are not perfect for all situations but do well in areas that need less than 30 feet coverage. 3-4 per zone max, however test the zone before you bury the line.

I needed the head to have a specific travel and distance out from the head. This head not only met my needs but exceeded it. Because of its specifications and lack of required tools it has become my go head.
