Worked great for 2 weeks, then the plunger on the bottom (used to stop the sprinkler when it drives over the ramp), broke. The entire cast iron bung broke out of the cast iron frame of the tractor. I will take it back to the store, but will not be getting a replacement from Home Depot. I had a lawn tractor from Lowes for 6+ years prior with NO problems - will be going back to Lowes for a replacement. I should have paid more attention to the reviews prior to purchasing.

So I have a very long front yard. Thats why I wanted this sprinkler. If it is dragging too much hose behind it, it doesnt have the power to get up on to the plastic piece it drives over to stop itself. Then it just sits there spinning its wheels and digging down into my grass. Sometimes the arms pop off too. The old one I used to have, different brand, never had these problems. A little disappointed

This sprinkler travels all over out large front yard with 150 feet of hose dragging behind it...does a thorough job of watering all the while with a slow forward motion that is very relaxing to watch!

Easy to put together. Easy to move around. Works great with a 100 foot hose.

I bought mine at the beginning of the 2013 season, and the plastic spinner piece is a little flimsy, but if you avoid manhandling the sprinkler, it won't have any problems. I'm sure that if I slammed the arms on the ground when I picked it up or set it down that it would cause problems, but I recognize that and simply take care of it. I lift it with two hands or arrange the arms so that they don't hit the ground when I lift it.
As a caution, heed the warning in the instructions about making sure the hose is straight for at least 2 feet before and after the stop-hump or the tractor won't be turned off and it'll keep going until you find it somewhere across the yard pushing against a wall/fence/tree digging a hole in the ground.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this sprinkler. The only thing that would make it better is to have a water "on-timer" attached to the hose that would almost make it a fully automated sprinkler.

If you want a product that lasts just over a year, this is the one for you. The plastic gears that drive this sprinkler break after minimal use (even when unit is stored in shed between use). This has happened to my friend as well, who bought the same unit a few months before I bought mine. The gears cannot be replaced without buying the entire gearbox, which after shipping, is over half the cost of this entire sprinkler.

This product works great for a very short time. Mine lasted less than a year. The internal gears strip with minimal use. Until they use metal gears like the National Walking Sprinkler company does, avoid.
