Answer:
The active ingredient in Ortho 24 oz. Ready-To-Use Nutsedge Killer is Sulfentrazone. The concentration is only .05% Sulfentrazone, 99.95% other ingredients (presumably water). I will attach a photo of the label.

Answer:
I have read that the active ingredient in this kills cool-season turfgrasses, which would typically include tall fescue. However, Ortho claims that it does not kill tall fescue on its website. I would trust Ortho since they explicitly say tall fescue is fine but just to be safe I would test a small area before applying broadly.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 50 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really kills poa annua!!! After searching on line and finding all information which basically said Poa Annua cannot be controlled by homeowners, only professionals. I tried this product, and lo an behold it has killed the invasive Poa annua in my Kentucky bluegrass lawn. Thank you Ortho, but how about a larger size? May 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works 100% better than the other products; wish they still had the concetrate I tried the concentrate 'Image' and bought two large containers with a sprayer. Diluted according to directions and nothing. Never worked. The Nutsedge is still there. Ortho ready to use is much more effective within 24 hours you see results. They use to have it in a concentrate and now I guess it is no longer available unless you want to hook it up to your hose. I have a large yard with a pool and do not want to hook up with my hose and trail around my yard trying to get to areas that the challenging to maneuver around. Purchasing the 24 oz I have used about 8 of them so far and this is getting expensive. Come on Ortho! Produce a concentrate that can be diluted for more convenient larger yards! This product works. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Killed my lawn , nutsedge still growing Used to the direction, has browned or killed my tall fescue, nutsedge still growing. Do not use, use a spot treatment, not a broadcast spray. Just keeps getting worse, after 2 weeks of almost constant rain it just kills more lawn and nutsedge is still present. May 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Killed nutsedge but browned grass I have a nutsedge problem in my back yard in north central Florida. I applied it to St Augustinr grass which it says is safe. It saw great results within 48 hours and noticed that the nutsedge was dying. However, my grass has turned yellow and looks really bad in the days since. I know the bottle says that stressed lawns may discolor but I'm a little worried that I've killed my lawn. I'll give this better reviews if my lawn comes back, just be cautious with this product and try it on a small patch first. April 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Weed Killer I bought this product to try and kill and stop the spread of weeds in my yard. I live in central Texas and have St Augustine grass for my lawn. I used this product on the whole yard and, after a week it looked like i just feed all the weeds is is suppose to kill! I will plan on try to get my money back for wasting my time!! I have resorted to trying and pull the weeds by hand!! I am in the process of finding a product that can produce what is says it can!! I would not recommend this product at lest for St Augustine lawns!! February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Product works well. Didn't harm my zoysia grass long term, but will turn it a little yellow for a few days. Only thing I've seen that kills nutsedge that a homeowner can buy and apply. August 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gets rid of oxalis!! My lawn had established yellow oxalis before I bought the land. The weed n' feeds didn't work at all; other stuff damaged my Bermuda grass. I saw results with Ortho hose end ready to use by the next day. No damage to my lawn at all. The other bonus is that I am not restricted from applying it during summer high temperatures. For two decades I've been battling oxalis before I found Ortho Nutsedge Killer. I've put it down three times, 3 weeks apart. It is about 99 percent eradicated; I inspect and spot treat as needed with the hand sprayer. I love this product! Glad Home Depot stocks both versions of it. October 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First Year with Nutsedge This is the first year I've had a really bad problem with nutsedge, it's everywhere, in January no less! Reading some of the reviews I saw complaints about needing a larger, easier, spray. It now comes with a concentrate that attaches to a hose and covers 5000 square feet. I've had success with the smaller spray bottle but both my hands got tired of the pump. So for those of you in the baby boomer era, this is heaven sent. Can't wait until the morning when I can go spray the yard. Oh yeah, it also kills a plethora of other weeds too. January 26, 2015
