Will this affect the health of St. Augustine lawn in 90 degree plus temperatures?

My experience is that you don't want to use it more often than recommended! I have noticed some browning when I did use it beyond that.

How long after you spray should you wait to water the grass?

Asked by: Evelez24
I would water your grass first, say the previous day, with lawn spray mix. Additional water after spraying can dilute the application.

The label states that it's safe for vegetable gardens. Still, I would look into products specifically made for gardens.

I've used this for fleas, chinch bugs and I believe it even helped with our mosquito problem. I've used the spray and the granules. For fleas it does keep them away for months just as the directions say. Everyone said I would never get rid of the chinch bugs once you get them but I did. It's been two years and no return. I put this on using the granules in the spring and then spray though out the rest of the year. Never came back.

This product took what is normally a quick and easy task and made it into a nightmare. I use Bug B Gone granules on my lawn (using a spreader) with great results. However, there's a part on the back of the yard that requires me to use a hose-spray product. Usually, I use Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer for this job, which was not on the shelves that day nor was there a place for it, so I'm not sure if Home Depot no longer carries. I like the fact that it contains different insecticides from the Ortho stuff I use, so they complement each other. It kills everything and it's easy to use. The next day you see dead bugs everywhere, and it also controls mosquitoes for a few days. I was very disappointed to not find the Bayer product. I had to get something, so I got the Ortho ready-to-spray instead. BIG MISTAKE. What should've been a few-minutes job took over an hour of messy spraying thanks to the poor design of the bottle. It leaked when used with the hose in the backyard, which is low-pressure, and it leaked like crazy on the hose in the front yard (had extra product left so decided to use it there, too). It sprayed all over me. It was a mess, and it was dark outside by the time I was done. NEVER AGAIN.

Living in "bug central"....meaning Florida, I've had a lot of experience with products such as Bug B Gon. This product 'does' work......you can tell the difference almost immediately. It seems to last but unfortunately, not as long as the 6 months it claims to. With the deluge rain we have here in the wet season, I believe it is understandable though. I will purchase this product again......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flea Control First time in two years my Dogs are free from fleas. Has not harmed or had any ill effect on my greatly aged Basset. I wanted a safe and easy to use product and Bug B Gone is it. The Dogs and I live in OKlahoma where fleas are a issue. I use the product once an month in mixed warm and cold weather and once every ten days or so in the hot and humid weather.

I could not crawl under the deck to get close to the house so I used a water hose to spray the distance and saturate the area. Worked for about 30 days then we noticed a large roach in our kitchen...darn. Will spray again and see how it goes?

I did see a change in the amount of mosquitoes, but I would like for it to kill them upon contact, seeing that they tried to charge me while spraying and did not die quicker, I might have to buy more and do it again for just in case purposes.
