GroundClear Vegetation Killer Concentrate has a shelf life of 2 weeks once it has been diluted. We recommend that you mix only the amount that you will use for one application. There are several reasons for this. Microbes in the water will break down the product within a 2 week period. Additives and minerals such as chlorine or iron may affect the diluted GroundClear Vegetation Killer Concentrate's effectiveness over time. Also, because directions and precautions are listed on product labels, storing diluted products in unlabeled containers may pose a health and safety risk. If it is not possible to use all of the diluted material in one application, store the tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place away from pets and children. Read Less

Hi jdj55758095,
Mix this quart(32oz.) with one(1) gallon of water to apply over a 75 square foot area. I suggest using a sprinkler can with a diffuser nozzle on the spout.

Answer:
In reference to Orthos Ground-Clear Vegetation Killer we recommend leaving the product remain undisturbed for 1 day after treatment. For best results do not cover, till, or otherwise disturb area for 7 days after application. If you have any further questions or should need any assistance please call us at 877-220-3089 and one of our representatives would be glad to assist you.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor quality it didn't kill anything. I sent my receipt to the company to get my money back June 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by a little for a lot. READ THE LABEL FIRST! this "concentrate" is a bad value I think since you add this 32 oz. bottle to a gallon of water giving you only a gallon and a quart of weed killer; not many gallons like other REAL concentrates. I will not buy again. March 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a Vegetation Killer Ground clear said it was a vegetation killer on the label. Living in Phoenix, Arizona I thought this would be the perfect thing for our desert landscape since we had more than just weeds coming up through the stone. It is no more than a weed killer, sprinkled it on a patch of growth and it looked like it actually got greener. Weed Killer yes, vegetation killer NO! April 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Product works quickly and as advertised. I have used this product for at least 5 years and have always been very satisfied as it kills everything for at least a year. I also include blue Hi-Lite dye in the mix and spray the area to be treated until the vegetation or ground is blue. I am able to control the application by making sure everything treated is the same shade of blue. I have already applied the product this spring and in most of the areas where I sprayed the ground was still clear from my application one year ago. April 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product! I have used Ground Clear every year for more than 4 years and I am always very pleased with the results. I apply it using a backpack sprayer with a blue die added so I know just where I've sprayed. We have 5 acres with several large areas of gravel and a lot of fence line and it makes me so happy that it isn't full of weeds! April 11, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Up to a year = A couple of months I used this product late last summer on my very long gravel driveway when weeds reappeared after my lawn guy used a similar product early summer, hence why I decided to give it a crack. Weeds slowly turned brown, which took about 2 weeks... then died. This year, June... weeds began spouting again in the same areas, along the edges and middle of the driveway. I liberally appied the product. Again, it took about 2 weeks to see results and then the weeds were gone. Here it is August and I am doing it again! I initially was concerned about over spray onto the lawn... not to worry, it will grow back in 2 months. August 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work like previous formulations The product quality has practically vanished. You now have to mix the entire 32oz to a gallon per the instructions on the label. The product is very slow to produce results unlike previous versions that produced results within a day. The price per performance ratio has been totally diluted. $9.00 for a gallon mix is not a good value, specially when the product performs poorly. I'm not sure why the quality and performance of vegetation killers has been so badly eroded for the consumer products within the last year. June 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works in El Paso I can't imagine what's not working for the folks that had poor results using this product. It was easy as 1,2,3 for me. 1.) cut grass weeds down (1-2") 2.) mixed according to label & sprayed 3.) watch weeds, grass and vegetation die! I applied during the day in ideal temps and the areas I sprayed were wilted and dying by sunset! I tried several other products and none came close to being as effective as Ortho GC. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I'm waiting to see how long my yard stays clear. September 27, 2015
