Bought the spray bottle and used all of it, thoroughly covering poison ivy plants (small and large). A week later, the same plants were healthy and growing...NOT WHAT WE WANTED! I saw no real benefit from the Ortho poison ivy product.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GerryT Great stuff...applicator a big mistake
I love the product. IT works. I've used it for years. Any new poison ivy breakout is stopped with a solid application. Last year, I bought the large container with the fancy new battery operated wand. You guessed it. I left the batteries in over the winter in the shed. The batteries corroded. I took them out, cleaned the contacts with naval jelly. Three days later, all clean. I dried thoroughly overnight and put in new batteries. The wand does not work. Thus, garbage. The old pump applicator was tedious but worked fine. What a waste of money.

This product worked even better than I expected on poison ivy.
I recently bought a house with a ridiculous poison ivy infestation along the elderly neighbors fence. AFTER WAITING FOR GREEN FOLIAGE to appear, I liberally applied the product to the leaves of three.
Plants with leaves of four, I decided that I should eat some more.
A couple weeks later the poison ivy was completely nuked. I left the withered vines in order to make sure the chemical decimates the roots as well.

I used this product exactly as instructed (twice over 8 weeks). The foliage wilted, only to have new sprouts appear within a day or so. Spray - wait - more appear. I've reapplied but it seems to invigorate instead of terminate the plant and roots.
The battery powered sprayer is also problematic. You can hear it cycling but it doesn't disperse the herbicide. You end up either opening the product and applying manually, or spending long periods of time in hopes that it will begin functioning again. It's not a vacuum issue, but I'm not sure what it is.
Very disappointing, and I'm currently looking into other products that will kill this plant(s) and will dig up the roots of the plants.

I had a Trumpet Vine that had overtaken my garden. If you've ever had one you know how invasive and hard they are to kill. I spoke to a professor of weed physiology and he recommended applying this in the fall when the nutrients are being transported to the roots. I didn't want to kill the surrounding plants so I applied it carefully to the leaves where over-spray or drips would not harm other plants. I then cut some notches in the stem and sprayed some of the product into the notches. The vine died the first time and regrowth has been almost non-existent.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by hayesl300 i used product a couple of years ago and it worked fine.
I like the product just fine BUT now that I am ready to use it again the sprayer doesn't seem to work. I replaced the batteries and made sure they were in the right order, per the battery lid, but I get nothing when trying to use it.

My property on a bayou was rampant with poison ivy. I am highly allergic to the stuff, so could not enjoy my yard.
Ortho Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer Ready-To-Use is the first product that actually has killed the plant - no more new eruptions from the roots. The 24 oz. with trigger sprayer is handy to carry - just perfect for casual walks around the fenceline.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Griffiths This product does not seem to work too well.
I purchased this product for overgrowth behind our garden. I sprayed twice in a week and the brush, weeds, and overgrowth is still there. It does not seem to work too well. I may have gotten a bad batch as it seemed to work last year when I purchased it,
