Rated 3 out of 5 by The glass is half empty. Opened the container and it was over half empty. Complete waste of space, it makes it difficult to get a tool long enough (like a spoon) to dig the chemical out. Very disappointed in decisions made in packaging. Any keep just moving to a new mound. Rated 5 out of 5 by A valuable product which guards against crippling injury. I use fire ant killer to apply in a field among twenty American Elm trees I have planted at a roadside location in the Rocky Creek valley of Gordon County, Georgia. These elms are the successful product of a nationwide project by participating scientists who promoted and performed a project to "re-plant" American Elms, following an effort to sufficiently cross-breed elms with blight-resistant strains in order to overcome the devastating blight which so famously killed millions of American Elms nationwide in the past fifty years. My field is an inviting place, and a pleasant place to walk, but is subject to the material hazard of the low dirt mounds in the field containing fire ants. Fire ants, when disturbed, can swiftly attack in great numbers and severely wound anyone who carelessly steps on a mound, which is especially dangerous to children. I try to keep that part of the field mowed, but the grass grows quickly in the summer, tending to hide the fire ant mounds. It is therefore a necessary protection to have an effective ant-killer to apply. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kills the Fire ants Kills those nasty fire ants. The smell is not that great but once you sprinkle on the bugs you move away. Does the trick. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by worth the money the powder works very fast and is long lasting. But do not get it around your nose or face, it stinks. December 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Weed & Ant Kill Great for mound treatment & easy to use & keep away from small children for the can not unscrew the top if yo tighten it good after use..I bought this on line online because they would not ship me the Bayer brand at the time for some reason . I was pleased that that they took most of the freaking stinking crud out of it. Use to you could not open the lid with out getting that sick felling . Good job with that . So might use you more now. It is hard to open the sealed cover , when they could have a tap to peel it back. June 18, 2014
