Is this an effective weed killer for Creeping Charlie a.k.a. Ground Ivy?

I looked at the SDS sheet and did not see any chemical composition listed probably due to patent issues that Scott's does not want leaked to the public (which is completely understandable). After a little research, most sites indicate an effective weed killer will include a combo of dicamba and triclopyr. Just wondering if this is a weed killer I should use...?
Asked by: PSYS
Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed Clover & Oxalis Killer will control creeping charlie and other hard to control broadleaf weeds. The active ingredient is Triclopyr. If you have any additional questions please call 877-220-3089 for assistance.

Weed B Gon 16 oz. Chickweed, Clover, Oxalis Killer for Lawns is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 121.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well; no smell. I'm really pleased with Ortho Weed B Gon Chickweed, Clover & Oxalis Killer Concentrate. It did really good work on the chickweed and oxalis. One application and they were GONE. And I like the lack of "weed killer" aroma with this product. It was pleasant to use and it showed really quick results. We'll certainly be using this product in the future because it really works. Very pleased with this one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dissapointing Results I applied as per the label instructions for spot treatment. The results to most of the weeds was not really great. Mostly no kill to the weeds with more of a set back to dandelions, other broad-leaf weeds, White Clover and Oxalis. Often white clover will require two applications for complete removal with most weed killers. Ortho Weed D Gon required 3 and 4 applications to get it under control. The summer of 2016 was cool and wet which White Clover enjoys. That contributed to the lack of good results, I'm sure. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not for wild violets I used this product as directed mainly to try to eliminate wild violets. No effect. Two weeks later, I used 150% of the recommended dosage on the wild violets. Again, no visible effect during the next two weeks. The product does control creeping charlie (ground ivy) , but the violets are not affected. Tried this product last year too with same dismal results. Thought maybe my product then was "old" and inactive, so this year bought the new bottle and immediately applied it as stated above. No results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not perfect but the best there is for some weeds I used this herbicide for the weeds listed in the title and my arch nemesis, wild violet. My synopsis: -Chickweed: Easily kills, may take a week or two to work -Clover/oxalis: Works but a second application often needed -Wild violet: 2 applications 8-10 days apart killed recently (1 month or so) germinated wild violet. I have yet to have it kill all of the well-established wild violet in my lawn. Some have died but the toughest of the wild violet remain. I believe the older wild violet just have too much carbohydrates stored up. I have mixed this with Tenacity for better results.
