Will this kill my clover?

I am replacing my grass (mostly crabgrass) lawn with clover. About 1/4 of the lawn has been taken over by the clover. If I use this product carefully will I still kill the clover? Also my expansive lawn is 300 sq.ft. is one bottle enough?

My property backs up to a goat farm. As you can imagine, my yard is under assault from weeds all during the growing season. I have used the Ortho Weed B Gon for the last couple of years. It works as advertised. It takes care of all the weeds and crabgrass. I fill my 2 gallon sprayer with just a little more Ortho than the directions specify. You have to be patient and give this a few weeks to kill the weeds. There will always be some stragglers so you come back and hit it again. You just have to spot kill the rest of the season. I am very satisfied with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ortho Weed B Gon is the best product on the market!!! I have used this product every year for as long as I can remember. It has always taken care of any weed issues I have encountered in my lawns. It is so simple to use and you will begin seeing results right away. Make sure it is not over 90* when you apply it. I love driving away to go to work and every day the weeds show more wilting. Within a couple of weeks they are gone. I apply it twice a year usually in march and again in August when we have a week of cooler weather come through (under 90* ) You will not be disapointed with this product, trust me. If you are no problem, Ortho backs their product. Save the reciept and they will give you a full refund so you are not out anything. I have never had to do that in the 30 years i have used this product!

I have used Ortho Weed B Gone with crabgrass killer to kill crabgrass it works great. Apply it several times within a two week period. Our lawn is crabgrass free because I use this product last year. It took about three bottles with great results. I used a hose end sprayer covered the whole yard each time. It does not kill the Bermuda grass. Great in a sprayer for smaller applications as well. This product is a all around weed killer and does the job. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this because the product I normally use with consistent success apparently is not carried by HD anymore. After I applied this a few weeks ago as directed using a hose end sprayer with the recommended flow volume, the weeds have grown in more dense than prior to application. It did not seem to destroy many of the weeds especially the clover. I'm rating this three stars only because I am not certain if it actually worked on weeds I could not see yet and are not present now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Pretty Well. First of all read the instructions! Like any other concentrate product, I believe some people don't adjust their sprayer right. Which could contribute to the products effectiveness, duh. I had no problems with this product. I seen quick termination of weeds and unwanted growth. I also tried the concentrate that Bayer had. I was not a bad product but not as good as Ortho. I think all these products are on the bit pricey side, (shrug).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whats the trick? Does this product require you to use it on the 3rd Saturday of the month when its presicely 68 degress outside? Because i bought it specifically for crabgrass and i doubled the concentration and i have spot sprayed the crabgrass twice now (about 6 days apart) and so far the only difference i notice is the dried chemical on the plant leaves. The crab grass is as green as ever. Time to talk with the real pros at the Ewing store

I mixed and applied the product according to the directions on the bottle. It has now been 10 days and the weeds in my lawn are still there. Some have yellowed a bit and I believe most of the weeds have stopped growing. But, they are definitely not dead. I may need to complete a second application . . . or switch to another brand to see if that works.

I sure wasted my money and will never buy this product again. Nothing happened and when i said nothing i sure mean nothing. Ortho is great but this time they really let me down. I am not sure why it did not work, but my guess is that this specific bottle had either the wrong formula or something else that wasn't intended to kill weed.
