I've used Ortho products for years & they work great, but I can't remove this new cap. I have Parkinsons and when I push the tabs in I can't get the cap to turn.

I use a pair of channel locks to hold the tabs in then twist while holding the tabs in which is exasperating to have to have to do this.
The excuse for this present style of capping a product is to keep children safe which most can help open the product regardless which negates the purpose of the design .

Answer:
CCO works a little more slowly than standard weed killer. At about a week you should see the weed stress. Clover in my lawn typically needs more than one application.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 96 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not perfect but the best there is for some weeds I used this herbicide for the weeds listed in the title and my arch nemesis, wild violet. My synopsis: -Chickweed: Easily kills, may take a week or two to work -Clover/oxalis: Works but a second application often needed -Wild violet: 2 applications 8-10 days apart killed recently (1 month or so) germinated wild violet. I have yet to have it kill all of the well-established wild violet in my lawn. Some have died but the toughest of the wild violet remain. I believe the older wild violet just have too much carbohydrates stored up. I have mixed this with Tenacity for better results. May 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works But Slowly The product label is there for a reason!! These products cannot be used in temps below 50 degrees or over 80 degrees. If you APPLY outside of these temp parameters the product will not work and the weeds will laugh it off. Also, do not apply two days before cutting or within two days of cutting. The product needs foliage to work. I prefer to mix a little strong in a two gallon pump sprayer and soak the weeds pretty well. Weak weeds like dandelions will curl up over night. The Oxalis and Chickweed will take a full week to show signs that it is working. I reapply after 3 weeks. April 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good product my back yard is always kept neat and trimmed, but during the early summer months I get this chickweed, clover and some other weeds that come up in certain areas. This product really controls this problem for me,after a few days or so I notice all that clover stuff turning brown and coming to an end.I spray this product according to directions as needed when I see this terrible weed and it's family move in on my beautiful lawn. This stuff works, just needs a little time but works,I mix it in my hose end sprayer and off I go,getting rid of that clover and chickweed,I always stick with Ortho products. May 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the job against wild violets and clover I swear by this stuff. When I bought my first house years ago, the lawn was overrun by wild violets. Nothing short of grass and weed killer killed them except this stuff - and left the lawn. My neighbor told me I'd never win against the weeds. The following year he asked me how I got my lawn greener than his putting green lawn. June 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Product Definately Works I reseeded my lawn last fall. When the grass started to grow there appeared to be a lot of weeds that came up with the grass. I went to my local nursery where they identified the culprit as common chickweed. About 10 per cent of my lawn was covered with this weed. My lawn covered about 10000 sq feet. I treated the lawn about 3 weeks ago and then gave it another treatment last week. As a result almost all of the weeds are now gone. Thanks Ortho. Wondering if you folks have anything to help my golf game? By the way, I spot treated my lawn with a pressure sprayer and applied at a rate of 1 ounce per 1 gallon of water. Thanks May 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Product Works Very Slowly I found the mixing and application to be much simpler than other products. 1 oz. of product to one gallon of water is a pretty fool-proof formula. Application was simple using a sprayer. I applied Weed B Gon Chickweed, Clover and Oxalyis Killer for lawns to actively growing clover and violets. By the next day the clover and violets were beginning to yellow around the edges of the leaves but a week later they looked the same; sickly but not dead. I will try another application but I was hoping this would take care of the problem in one application. The product did not harm the lawn. June 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JUMPED THE GUN, WEEDS ARE DYING I HAD WRITTEN THAT I WAS DISAPPOINTED BUT I GUESS I SPOKE TOO SOON. IT HAS BEEN A WEEK AND MORE AND MORE OF THE TREATED WEEDS ARE TURNING YELLOW AND DYING OFF, EVEN THE CREEPING CHARLIE THAT NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK AGAINST. VERY PLEASED EVEN THOUGH I WILL HAVE TO DO ANOTHER TREATMENT SINCE I HAVE IGNORED MY LAWN FOR SO LONG DUE TO ILLNESS. June 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I am not sure that this product produced any results. The hard part in using this product was that I need the right conditions. The grass had to be cut 1 to 2 days before use and 1 to 2 days after use and no rain for 24 hours. This Spring has been wet and getting the grass cut in-between was difficult let alone when to get the product down. I finally got it applied and am I do not see any sign of it working so I will have to try it again in a few days. Putting it down between cuttings and rain storms. I hope it will work later in the season. May 27, 2016
