Answer:
Yes, but it can't be a full size regular light bulb. I use an A-15 size ("fan bulb" size), 5 watt (40 watt equivalent).

Answer:
Yes, I put LED bulbs in mine and it worked great. It won't exceed the wattage limit because it's LED, of course. Don't get the standard bulb size, get something like an A15 so it fits under the lens.

Answer:
Mfg suggests appliance bulbs - I used 25w as some reviewers noted a higher wattage bulb can melt lens.

Answer:
An alternative is to buy the acrylic tube and cut and drill to shape. You need a 3" OD, 2-3/4" ID, 1/8" thickness acrylic tube. You need to be handy at a drill and saw.

Answer:
If you want a bright & even amount of light, we suggest spacing the lights 8'-10' apart. For medium dappled lighting, 12'-18' fixture spacing. And for soft lighting, over 20' fixture spacing.

Answer:
From my experience doing a long driveway, I spaced these every 15'. That worked well. Since you are doing a walkway, you could change that to every 10' for more light if needed.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Adding to the two others we have. Work beautifully to lite the walk and patio area. We use a motion detector to turn on. Very happy with them March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by outstanding outdoor light Easy to assemble and looks great. Outstanding lights that provide good light to the pathway. March 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beware of ants Although the lights are of top quality material, the loose design in the base encourages ants to enter the center and nest in the socket and lens assembly, where they deposit mud. This causes the reflector to corrode and the lens to overheat, melting it. If the design had a way to block the ants I would give it five stars, but if you have ants in your yard this is not the product for you. I have had about 45 of these in my yard for over 20 years and half of them have been ruined by the ants. October 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Commercial grade quality - at a low price I am sorry to see that Home Depot is phasing these "line voltage" lights out. These Red Dots are by far the best quality landscaping lights you can buy. All high quality metal that last for years and years. I installed these in my last house and they were going strong after 10+ years of daily use. There is some work involved to bury the UF-B cable, digging and such, but the payoff is a lighting system that will give you years of service. Line Voltage allows you to install compact CFLs in these and the power consumed in minimal. I currently have a string of 11 of these, with 9 wall CFLs. That's only a total of 100 watts which illuminates my entire 150' driveway. I spaced these 15' apart. June 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great light, great price!! The lights were very easy to install and they look great. The quality is second to none; I love these lights! July 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value, great illumination Outdoor quality is excellent, and a perfect accent for driveway and walks. Even with 25w bulbs, they are extremely bright. My only disappointment is the machining of screw holes - not precise and there were a few screws missing from a couple of kits. May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great light Have 30 around my yard work great easy to install. You can get two 3/4 pvc pipes in the bottom if you hard pipe like I did. Wish Home Depot would sell the led lamps to fit inside. At least menards has them. April 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 10 in. Domed Bronze Path Light I have been using these lights for over 5 years. I am disabled and they provide excellent lighting along my driveway and pathways for the wheelchair. They have a lifetime warranty which the company stands behind. Some of the plastic domes broke (perhaps due to excessive heat in Florida and length of time I have been using them) and the company sent me replacements immediately. I have about 16 of these lights and my driveways look like helicopter pads. They are much brighter than solar lights. Highly recommended. May 28, 2006
