Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A qualty kit, but not for novices.. I read the reviews for this shed before ordering and I was glad I did. The instructions are very thorough, but this is definitely a plan you want to read all the way through first before starting. Overall I was very impressed in the quality of the workmanship and I had no issues with incorrectly cut or missing parts. Assembly of this shed took me essentially an entire day of steady work, being very careful to follow the instructions properly. Pre-drilling pilot holes, and some wood working skills regarding attachments ensure a high quality finished product. If you are the type that opens the box and just tries to throw it together, this is not the shed for you! September 13, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by doors are falling apart I bought a house at the beginning of the year and the shed was already there. The doors are falling apart and that happened this summer after a few weeks of using it daily. Although the rest of the shed is sturdy, nice and good, the pieces that hold the hinges and door closures are coming apart, undone. So one of the vertical plank of one door came apart and the horizontal piece with the hinge on it and the one with the door closure. That's because those pieces are thinner and are held together with tiny staples/nails. I was wondering why this was happening now and not with the previous owners and my neighbours said that's because they weren't using it on a daily basis like I was. I garden a lot so I used the shed a lot. October 6, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Shed, but longer than 3 hrs to piece together I just bought this shed last weekend. We have a small yard, so I was looking for something to fit next to the house. It arrived in about 2 weeks, and came in two separate boxes. I consider myself handy around the house, and found this shed time consuming to put together. It was not difficult by any means, but there were a tonne of separate pieces, which were not labelled. It took me about 9 hours to construct! All in all, a good quality little shed. August 29, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to assemble This is a great little shed; be warned that it's only about 5 feet high so tall tools like rakes, etc may not fit. The kit is very easy to assemble, especially if you have a friend helping (recommended for getting the four walls squared properly). Instructions are in clear ENGLISH (thank you!), and total assembly for this 'couch potato DIY-er' was about 4 hours. Would definitely recommend. February 27, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A lot of work to assemble, but worth it. August 14, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Garden Shed <3 Overall: Great, sturdy Product, I am totally happy! Fast S&H & nothing was damaged. Assembly: You do need someone who is "handyman-ish". Although the step by step instructions are very helpful, it's somewhat vague on aligning the seams on the base. It does requires drilling, hammering, sealant & a helper. Advice: Make sure you use ALL the trim & sealant as instructed. Don't be tempted to skip! This will ensure no leaks when it rains & reinforces the overall structure. Issues: There is enough lead-way to adjust the front doors with the flange if it's not exact. But follow the instructions & pictures to align sides/roof. The interior shelves were about 1/4" too short & would fall through. We had to use another piece of wood for additional support. Total assembly time: 3 hrs April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't be intimidated . . . When the two flat-pack arrived, I was somewhat intimidated. Before assembly, I went and also bought a 8amp Milwaukee torque screwdriver and cordless power drill. I am good at directions, but wasn't sure about fitting all the pieces together. The instructions said 4-6 hours. I was careful and precise, and had the entire shed built in barely 3 hours. It looks great, and even though it's just a simple-looking garden shed, it has gotten many compliments. It is far better looking than a plastic shed, and since it is in a visible spot near my garden, attractiveness was important. I'm very pleased with the look, the finish, and the convenience of the shed. And I'm just a bit smug in telling others that I "built it myself." A perfect quality product for display and storage. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good storage customizable. My husband assembled over weekend and recommends directions are read first and seal outside surfaces before assembly. We customized with kitchen cart for lower shelves and work space, used wire shelf for light items, and attached original shelves on doors with screw hooks for hanging tools. Looks good and unobtrusive in back yard. September 3, 2013
