Quality of wood, wood finish and rounding of edges was a bonus.
For the price I thought I would get a shorta flimsy construction & material. The constructed product is sturdy, well designed, and looks great.
The only surprise was that I needed an assistant to aid in the construction.
My sister saw the finished product and immediately ordered one.
It is a great buy. Order yours today before Home Depot realizes it s worth is more than $140.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jane I LOVE this table!
From the packing and delivery to the assembly, this picnic table exceeded my expectations. Everything was there, with a few spares. The wood is gorgeous, and you can choose what goes with what. Instructions were clear and easy to follow--I did it all by myself without any trouble and only a little adaptation. Results are gorgeous! The legs didn't even wobble at all. I have all the power tools, which made assembly easy and fun. Took no more than 3 hours alone. BTW, I'm a 62-year-old female lawyer with only rudimentary handy Jane skills. Love my table!

I ordered this picnic table online and it arrived promptly in a box. The packing was first rate, all pieces are pre-cut and each has to be assembled. The quality of the cedar was first rate. I beefed mine up a little bit only because I wanted the bench seats a little farther out from the table. I am well over 300 pounds and so are many of my friends. I doubled the legs because this table will be on the lawn and I thought that if there were 1200 pounds sitting at the table we might bury the legs in the lawn if there wasn't more surface area. The table is very stable as is but I'm a former shop teacher so I can't help myself. Here's the best part: I had to buy some extra 2x4 cedar pieces for my modifications, I went to Home Depot and the 2x4x8' cedar lumber in the bunk was exactly the same as what came in the kit so it matched perfectly. You'll need a good cordless driver because there are a lot of deck screws that have to be driven. I sealed mine but that isn't necessary, cedar is naturally resistant to decay. Here is a picture right after completion. I would have taken the photo when is was in the yard but I am single and I have to wait for my son to come over so I can move it. This thing will be around a lot longer than I will be.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by baseballskipper59 Nice sturdy table
Nice looking table. Needs water-resistant stain to bring out the cedar grain and color and protect from the weather. Fairly easy assembly and the instructions are good. You really need two people at some points in order to lift and flip the table, and to hold parts in place while joining. I question the use of 2x4" stock for the legs and supports (instead of 2x6 like the table top), but overall a good value.

Poor quality wood and very difficult to assemble. I think you need to be an experienced wood worker to get this table to look right.

I just ordered this table for my father as a father's day gift, and he loves it! He wanted a lighter picnic table that he and my mother could more easily move around in the yard and this one was fine at 110 pounds. I spend hours searching online at various picnic table stores and they were all either heavier (130lbs. and up) or too big (we wanted a 5ft table). They put two coats of deck stain on it and it looks beautiful!
My only negatives are the price (wow, $372 for a picnic table!!), and the assembly. I wasn't counting on spending hours on it but that's what it took. But if you have a decent drill and a 1/8 bit, it can be done.
