Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jet54 Wow, what a Pergola!
The Pergola is massive, both constructed and crated. It arrived by truck and it had to be un-crated and unpacked by hand to get it off the truck. The smell of Western Red Ceder is awesome to me, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Everything arrived in perfect order and the manufacturer and LTL carrier communicated every detail to my satisfaction and delight. We stained every piece before we erected it to ensure end grain sealing. We used Olympic Elite Woodland Oil Kona stain to match our roof clay reddish-brown tiles. This took about a week overall. You will need to buy standoff concrete anchor brackets, but they tell you which, to fit the ceder foot wraps. Construction took a day total, and was very simple except for the 114 deg weather that day. Drink lots of water! Now all I have to do is level and lay 300 sqft of pavers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clarence the product has very nice finishing touches
Excellent, materials were very good overall, only one minor defect, girder was 1/4 inch undersized in width and depth. went together easily. Only needed two people on posts and overhead ladders. Shipping was on time. The instructions were very good and clear. Point of interest for those who want apply a sealer or paint , only a very thin coat on the inside notches.

We purchased the 12 x 20. Very soon after placing the order we were contacted by a customer service representative to answer any questions in advance and discuss the shipping details. Showed up on time. The quality of the wood and all the cuts were better than expected. The hardware was all stainless which i was very pleased with this detail. We stained everything prior to assembly and drilled holes in two of the six support beams to facilitate wire for speakers low voltage lighting. This was a recomendation from another customer and was passed along by the company. Installation was simple with the most difficult step being laying out and installing the posts mounting brackets. I purchased my brackets from Home Depot directly so cannot comment on the kit they offer. My brackets required drilling into the concrete slab and installing threaded shafts with two part epoxy. All parts assembled very easily with no modification required. Directions were easy to follow. We installed in the northwest where we experience 50+ MPH winds and no issue. Lasltly we covered ours with multi-walled poly carbonate plastic to keep the rain out. I do almost everything myself and would grade this as one of the best DIY manufactured product.

This is a beautiful, quality pergola!! Many pieces and easy to assemble, however, if you plan to stain it, it will take at a minimum, several days.

All items in the kit were present and excellent quality. Cuts were all dead-on. Instructions were clear and actually made sense.
And, the Western Red Cedar wood is absolutely gorgeous. Home-Depot and the vendor rep were available, knowledgeable, and pleasant. We love it!

I am very excited about this structure as it is just what I have been looking for and it looks like the assembly won't be all that difficult.
The delivery to my home of this 1100 pound "package" went off without a hitch. It was well protected in pressboard and on a huge pallet that will be used later for a 12 x 4 foot outdoor table.
I was surprised to find that all the pieces were not perfect (my expectations may be unrealistically high) with some 2 flaws in crucial places. These were easily mended with wood filler as I am priming and painting the structure. (This is taking me longer than I thought it would - my time kmanagement and planning is not always accurate.) You might end up contacting the company for replacements if you're leaving the surface raw or stained. They do guarentee replacements, though I did not find this necessary.
