I replaced a shower faucet stem and seat, but the threads for the seat had eroded so that the new seat was loose and the water could not be shut off completely, creating a steady drip from the shower head. I applied this epoxy putty to the threads and re-installed the seat. SEALED -- NO DRIPS! Took 10 minutes and the cost of the putty used was about 25 cents!

This product worked like a charm. Much better than I would have guesed. We had water spraying from a pipe... an hour later, after putting on the putty, there wasn't event a drip. That, and it was like 5 bucks. Wow. Saved us some serious plumber costs.
