I used it to repair a dry rot 4x12 beam that was exposed to the weather. I cleaned it and used the PC Petrifier as instructed then the epoxy. The next day I shaped it and primed the beam. The alternative was to remove or replace the beam. It was framed in between two walls, so not a practical solution to maintain the design of the home.

I had never used a product like this before. It is easy to mix, easy to spread, doesn't smell so bad as other epoxy stuff. My only complaint is they didn't carry it in the store, I had to order it and wait for it to be delivered.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Foolish One of my worst purchases ever!
Hard to work with. Now going on six days and still as soft as when I put it down. Granted humidity is high in South, but this paste simply doesn't harden! Right now I plan on replacing the wood! Otherwise I will never get my project finished. Don't waste your time and money on this product!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rickc Best epoxy wood filler
I have a log home with some rot. I've tried several epoxy fillers on the smaller areas and
PC Woody is the easiest to work, apply and shape. Peanut butter consistency.
I have more areas to fix and I won't buy anything else.

My Homeowners Association had demanded some residents repair their rotting roof tails, so I purchased Woody Wood Epoxy Paste and it worked perfectly. Easy to work with. It filled in even the pieces that fell apart when sanded, so that they all looked uniform and good as new. They are stronger than before and painted up beautifully. Highly recommend

We have had great success using this stuff to repair rotted sills around our 100 year old home. It is easy to use, not that strong smelling, and sets up pretty quickly. It does not run, which is very helpful in vertical areas, and it is very easy to work after it sets up.
The only negative aspects: there is no dye to show clearly how well it is mixed, and the lip around the edge o fthe can makes it tricky to get all the material out.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DEBofTEXAS Great for Filling Cedar Siding Holes
In preparation of repainting our tonge and groove vertical cedar siding, I noticed quite a few missing knot holes as well as some holes created by woodpeckers. PC-Woody Wood Epoxy Paste was the ideal solution to fill various sizes of holes. Mix only enough to be used in about 15 minutes to avoid hardening too quickly. After filling holes with a putty knife, we allowed them to cure before slightly sanding the areas so they would be completely flush with the existing wood. This product dries to a light wood color and can be stained or painted. We are using paint so the finished product should look smooth and uniform. I'm sure there are many other uses for this product such as repairing damaged or rotten exterior wood siding, posts or other exterior decorative treatments. It was much less expensive to repair the otherwise perfectly good wood siding rather than spending more on a complete residing job. This was done by a DIY homeowner.

Used this over 10 years ago to restore scallops on a gate canopy. It still looks great.
You can smooth this while "damp" with acetone. It also sands just like wood once dry.
It also does not shrink like auto filler.
Wish I could buy this in the store.
