The PM4000 is the most versatile, hassle-free portable folding saw stand there is to accompany your contractor sized pro grade saws. Both, rugged and dependable with a no non-sense attitude; this portable folding saw stand is designed to help you get in, get out, and get the job done while saving you time and hassle. It's like having an extra pair of hands whenever and wherever you need them! The quick mount tool attachments (PM-7002) give you the ability to quickly and safely attach or detach your saw to the stand in seconds, without tools. The tubular steel design not only makes the PM4000 strong and durable, it also holds the 2 material supports that can be pulled out to support 116 in. of material. That's over 9 ft. of board drawn across the adjustable 13 in. support T's with 500 lbs of capacity. When it's time to go, the folding legs swing under the center portion secured by pins that snap into position for the lightest, most compact portable contractor-grade stand on the market.

  • Accommodates most miter saws (free adapter brackets for offset mounting holes are included)
  • Mount or remove your miter saw quickly & easily with trigger handle quick release tool mounts
  • Adjustable arms extend out to provide 116 in. of material support
  • Fast and easy set up with snap pin lock folding legs
  • Easy height adjustment of material supports without tools
  • Stand collapses down quickly without tools - for easy storage and transport
  • 20 in. quick attach tool mounts may be used as miter saw base on most surfaces

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quick Setup, Compact Storage, 500lb Capacity, 113" Width with arms, Quick Detach Saw Mount Having wanted a proper miter saw stand for many years, this Portamate Miter Saw Stand meets every single need I have for my saw and adds a couple great features to boot. Assembly out of the box takes less than ten minutes. Unfold the attached legs and lock them in position with their spring pin lock. Each leg locks positively into place with no wiggle or play. That's important with a heavy saw and cuts being made all day. The saw attachment brackets snap lock onto the base with a sturdy 'click' and once you slide the material arms into their rails and screw in the adjustment knobs you're all set. The stand itself is made from steel, all steel. It's painted with a nice gloss orange finish. No plastic parts on the legs, pins or rails to break off when you bear down on a project. The material arms and cross support beams are also made of metal and can hold the weight of any size material you'd be cutting on a miter saw. The stand comes with all the necessary hardware to mount just about any miter saw on the market. They even include extra steel brackets to mount saws that may have a narrow bolting pattern on their base. Whatever size miter saw you're using, this stand can hold it. Attaching my saw to the mounting brackets took about five minutes. The four included bolts were just the right size for the base my saw has. I didn't need the extra adjustment brackets, nor did I need to use the extra long bolts they also include for you. My favorite feature of the stand is the detachable saw brackets that give you a separate stable base for the power tool when it's not on the stand. This adds a level of flexibility that is most welcome. Attaching the saw to the base with those brackets is a quick snap lock procedure and the large handles on the release make for quick work of disassembling. When they snap into place, you know the saw is secure. The side material arms allow for an infinite range of width and height adjustments up to 113" wide to keep your cuts square with the surface of your saw. They clamp into place securely with medium sized threaded knobs. On the job site you can have the stand unfolded and the saw snapped onto the stand in under a minute. It's that smooth and easy. I have one tip, and that is to withdraw the material arms as far as the rails safely allow and mark that point with a black marker. This will keep you from pulling the arms out too far and having them fall out. Everything about this stand exceeded my expectations. Rock solid assembly, huge material length and weight capacity, no wobble in the stand once set up and the ability to instantly detach the saw, and reattach whenever needed. If you're looking to upgrade from the wobbly table and saw horse method of holding your miter saw, grab this stand today. You won't regret it. September 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by PortAMate Miter Saw Stand PM4000 I have wanted to get a miter saw stand but the cost kept me from buying one. After see this one and the price was right I decided to get the Port A Mate PM4000. It was easy to assemble and only took about 10 minutes to take out of the box and assemble. The only tool you need is wrench or socket to bolt the miter saw to the quick release attachment. It has a quick mount tool attachment that is really good. Once you bolt your miter saw to the quick mount tool attachment to the saw when your work is done for the day, all you have to do is press on the two quick release handles and the miter saw comes off the saw stand and you are ready to put the miter saw away. Press the four snap pin release for the four legs and you are ready to put it away. When you are ready to start the next job click the easy snap pin on the 4 leg out and put on the miter saw that was attached to the quick release handle and you are ready to go. It comes with 3 sets of different size bolt to connect the miter size to the quick release attachment. The unit is sturdy and doesn’t flex when you have the miter saw. At first the high seem higher than I used to. Once I started using it I actually like the high. I was using before two saw horses and plywood. The only negative thing would be a small tray when I could put my pencil, tape measure when I’m cutting the pieces of wood. Besides that, it’s a great product. You will not go wrong if you purchase. It comes with a one (1) year limited warranty September 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by solid work stand For the price you pay, this is the best stand you can buy. I have looked at the other options out there but this is the best Value for money. The PM-4000 has a very sturdy stance that even my 12" sliding compound miter saw is rock solid. The saw easily lifts off and the stand can be carried with one hand. This is the last stand I will ever have to buy. July 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Portamate Ext. Arms Being an old pro of construction, here is my review....Solid built and will take some rough handling. The issue is the arms that reach out to hold the wood. One side will hold the wood and the other side is very limited due to not being able to adjust it to the other side of the stand to have full access to it.. September 10, 2014
