Great machine, perfect for one man to do small jobs, very well made. Best to make a stand for it to dump into wheel barrow (see pictures) I made the first stand with pilaster block, but needed the blocks, had to make second stand. If you want to dump into wheel barrow one has to have a stand. Will mix two eighty pound bags of quickcrete.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by unxpected NO Assembly Instructions!! there is a parts diagram that is very low resolution looks like it was scanned in the 1970s.
There is a wire next to the engine start switch that looks like it goes into another with 2 holes. nothing mentions this ugly wiring scheme. There was oil in the engine that leaked everywhere from the shipment.

The 5 cu. ft. Gas Powered Commercial Duty Cement & Concrete Mixer CMG5 is a wonderful machine. I thought I could do a job around the house without it, but soon found it would be next to impossible or take me forever to complete. I love the mixer. It is easy to start, mixes well, and is easy to clean. I definitely recommend it to anyone needing to do concrete projects. And, in the long run, using it is less costly than hiring a cement truck. Thank you.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Craton Works fine once you get it started!
I think the mixer is a good solution for small project work, once you get it started. The initial start out of the box was difficult, but subsequent starts were okay...as long as the foam air filter is not clogged with excess engine oil. The filter should be checked occasionally along with checking the oil, Be careful not to add too much oil which will overflow out of the engine and through the air filter onto the ground. Also, the oil dipstick can be misleading, as the "ideal" level or amount of oil should register at the "bottom" or tip of the dipstick...not the top. One last thing...it's important to get a good mix and then empty into the work area, as cement will begin to leak out of the drum through the holes...however, when mixed properly, you can make good batches and depending on the size of the cement bags, only one or two bags should be mixed at a time.

Bought this mixer in June. Mixed about 8 yards of concrete gravel and cement through it. No problems so far. Been making flag stone in molds and retaining wall brick in molds too. Perfect size for this. The most it will hold is 22 shovels full of gravel and you have to lean it back so the mix doesn't spill out. Shipping was fast also.
