Took me an hour to install drilling the eight holes through metal truck rail and bolting all the pieces in place....instructions were fairly easy to follow....best part of the purchase was the price....under $100, no shipping...

Installed on - '97 Toyota Tacoma
Rack came ahead of delivery estimate, and included both the front and back for $98 plus tax. Installation was as you would figure, drill through truck bed rails at the provided points (pre-drilled) on the rack. The pre-drilled points were at the outside edge of the rack, so there was a gap between the rack mount intended to sit tight against the inside of the truck bed (as opposed to the mounting side that sits on top), and the inside of the bed rail itself. This might not matter for full-size with wider rails.
KEY FACT - For those (like me) who usually skip directions, this rack is reversible upon mounting. You will notice that the cross-bar of the rack has a short end with plastic plugs in it. The plugs can be removed, and the rack flipped upside down to accommodate different rack heights depending on the height of your cab. I actually modified mine beyond the two options, in order to make the mount even with a Yakima rack on the cab. Something to consider when you install, don't want a rack that sticks too far up, or not high enough.
*Also - If you don't want to drill, there are specially made "C" style clamps for lumber racks!! You don't have to drill if you don't want, you can easily secure it on with thin rack-pad and clamps.
All is fine, once you cinch everything down it feels sturdy and looks clean. Could weld or silicon joints when dry to ensure no water gets inside, but otherwise.. it's a very decent rack for the cost.

Easy installation, looks OK on my Colorado. Rattles a little at connection points but a quick wrap of duct tape around the interior post handled that. Price was definitely right.
