Customer Reviews

Hole Saw Set with Case (19-Piece) is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 49.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product for the price We're building a cabin and used this hole saw set for punching through the sub floor and studs for water, sewage & electric lines. We had no problems after 2 days of continuous use; and used almost every size in the set. It would be easier if the larger saws were deeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product for Very Affordable Price I needed several sizes of hole saws for the self-watering planters that I was making. I priced them out at the stores and they were more than I could afford. Found this set online and ordered right away. They came quickly and have worked beautifully sawing 3" and 1" holes in the bottom of 5 gallon buckets. Nice clean holes easily done. I am 68 and disabled so if I can use them anyone can.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the price Look, if you need to make several holes in solid wood doors, then buy a specific high quality hole saw which will cost more that this entire set, and it should. If you need to make some holes in softer wood, especially 1/2" or less, then these will do it. I don't expect these to last at this price, but I drill a few holes every 5 years, so this is a throw away item after it is used. I specifically used the 4" and 2" to make holes in 1/2" sanded plywood. It is over $40 a sheet, so if I messed up, it would be costly. These did fine. I wouldn't expect to drill a lot of holes, but I got my money's worth with four holes that I drilled compared to the $15 - $20 for one specific hole saw. Just match the product with the project, and you will be fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good set for the price I bought this set because I needed to cut 3 1/2" holes in 1/4" plywood, and it's so much cheaper to get a set than to buy hole saws individually. Seems like good quality for the price, not excellent, but gets the job done. Of course I was only using it on thin plywood, but it worked fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than I thought. I have used these hole saws for wood, plastic and pexi-glass. As with any drilling, I matched the speed of the drill with the item being drilled into, and the hole saws worked perfectly for all materials. Although I'm sure the more expensive hole saws will last longer, these show very little signs of wearing. It comes with an adaptor to fit both popular chuck sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from can't beat for the price. By no means something a contractor would use but perfect for do-it-yourself types who don't need to spend more than this whole kit cost on a single brand name hole saw(not including the arbor bit)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lacking in Quality After buying plenty of items from Home Depot and being very happy with the quality of everything else I've ever bough here, this highly disappointed me. The metal that is used for both the guide plate and the hole saws themselves is very thin and breaks easily. The two pins on the guide plate didn't last more than 5 holes (1/2" oak plywood). Both the chuck hole on the hole saw itself, and on the guide plate (after I used screws/bolts to replace the pins) stripped out within 12 hole cuts to the point where the hole saw was unusable. The drill bit on the chuck broke on the first hole and was fairly hard to replace (required a 15/64 pilot hole bit, not a 1/4"). I only used the 4" hole saw, and returned the product. Fortunately, the cashier at HD was quite friendly and returned the product no problem for store credit, so I could get a different hole saw.
