Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HandyWhenRequired Good water filter
Easy to install. Provides 100 gallons as specified. Water from filter tastes good. Fill rate slows down at end of life in addition to blinking LED on filter. Price per gallon of water is decent enough to make it a good value.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by countrylife Works great and gives peace of mind
We live in the country, but have town water. Whenever there has been a problem with water quality, we are notified of it AFTER the fact. So, we filter our drinking water with Pur water filters. These filters work beautifully to remove impurities, lead, and other undesirable elements. They aren't inexpensive. But the price at my local Home Depot is lower than anywhere else. I will continue to buy my Pur water filter refills at Home Depot, because having peace of mind about water quality, at the best price around, is invaluable to me.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jorogo Taste so good
I have been spending $30 - $40 a month on bottle water and I finally got smart, with this filter I am paying lose than $5 a month for water that taste just as good. My last filter lasted 4 months. I paid $39.99 for the faucet filter system it already had a filter with it, I just bought a new filter for $19.99, thats $39.99 + $19.99 = $59.98 over 4 months, my bottle water bill would be at least $120.00. Saved $60 already and I don't have to buy another filter system until this one wears out. Get one now.

I bought the system to replace a broken outdated system i had. I will say that as for how long it takes to fill a 3qt pitcher is probaly about two mins. Not a deal breaker as i knw that water is being pushed thru the element. Water has a better taste and doesnt stink. Iam on city water and seems to taste better when i make ice tea or coffee. 2months out of the filter is about right for me thats a pitcher a day.
