Q:Is this prehung? Ad says Prehung but multiple reviewers say it is not.

        Answer This Question

A:  The door comes knock down with jambs and all machining complete, ready to assemble. As such, it can be hung either right hand or left hand. Shipping this way prevents much potential damage, makes it easier to handle AND allows reversible handing.

Doors are warped, and do not install straight. Terrible workmanship, and the JG the associate from the company still has not replied to my numerous inquiries about replacing a defective jamb kit. Stay away from this company. Poor quality and even poorer customer service.

Terrible customer service. JG the associate did not reply to my numerous communications via email and voicemail. The door kit I ordered had a defective jamb kit, and for three weeks now Pacific Entries still has not replaced the jamb kit. To make matters worse, they stopped replying to my inquiries regarding a replacement. Do not order from this company.

This is not a pre hung door. I ordered them and waited a few weeks and when I went to pick them up they were slabs only. Prehung means with a jamb.

Just a slab. No jamb. This is not what is called a prehung door

Oh my gosh, what a pain. This door is NOT prehung. They send the slab door home with a jam kit. Well the kit was mis-manufactured so we had to fix that aspect. Then, after relining and routering things so they lined up like they should, we noticed one of the hinge's routering was done so poorly that we had to redo that too so hinges would be flush. Ugh. The slab door itself is nice, solid wood but the jam kit was a joke and the manufacturer won't send replacement without returning the door. Pretty expensive for such a hassle.
