Product Overview

Designed for use on walls, ceilings, and other applications requiring a semi-smooth finish this 9 inch W, 3/8 inch nap, standard dia roller cover is engineered with high density white knit fabric making it ideal for use with the new thicker Paint + Primer paints on the market today. The increased density of the fibers allows the roller to hold more paint for fewer trips to the paint tray while the 100% polypropylene core with patented thermo-bond technology not only seals the fiber to the core to keep them from releasing into the paint but also holds up under hours of use and can be cleaned again and again for re-use. Engineered for use with all paints and stains including oil and latex. Package includes 3 roller covers.

Paint with Primer 9 in. x 3/8 in. High Density Knit Polyester Roller Covers (3-Pack) is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stick with Purdy Rollers I am usually very fair when it comes to reviewing products, but I was very unhappy with the performance of these rollers. I thought I would try them since they were ~$3 cheaper than the Purdy 3/8" rollers, but that was my first mistake. These rollers often obsorbed more paint then they put on the walls. I also experienced a lot of the polyester in the paint as I looked at the tray. After using 2 of the rollers from the pack I threw the third one away, went back to Home Depot and got a 3 pack of the Purdy White Dove 3/8" rollers to finish my job. Spend the couple extra bucks and get a product that won't frustrate you as you work with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Roller Covers!! I purchased the 3 pack and have only used one. These are awful! I have been painting the same wall for about an hour because the roller cover will NOT stay on the roller!! I am constantly having to push it back on. It is irritating to the point that mid-painting I sat it down and came down stairs to write the company my complaint. I am not one to ever write a review, But I hope I can prevent the next person from making the same mistake as I have. as the last review said... they drink the paint and you are constantly going back to the tray only to paint a 2 foot line each time... I would have given a negative star if possible

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Couldn't handle the paint. I had a 12x14 room to paint (walls and vaulted ceiling) and by the third wall these things were sliding all over the place and not putting the paint on the walls properly. The previous coats of primer (on new drywall) never gave me this kind of problem, but when I started with these rollers, I could tell the difference. They might have been okay if I only had to do a couple of walls, but once they were saturated they were toast. I'm going back to the White Dove rollers - they really are worth the money, especially if you're doing a large area.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Sprays tiny paint droplets everywhere, more so than any other roller cover I have ever used. Doesn't hold much paint. Gums up real bad on the ends. Throw these in the trash where they belong and go for the Purdy, Wooster, or anything else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Roller Cover I ever Used Absolute Junk - These absorb so much paint, are impossible to roll smoothly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst roller cover ever used, should not be sold at HD or it should come with a warning of those 1star reviews right on the shelf... I don't know why I picked it up, since I already had multipacks of Purdy, but it was a total waste of money. They spray little droplets of paint all over while rolling, use a lot of paint and leave a thick coat that takes forever to dry and actually drips paint leaving those long streaks. AVOID, stick to purdy or those brandlesss homedepot "BETTER" or "BEST" Kinds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for a small project This is an average roller at a reasonable price. I needed a roller for a minor paint job in a bedroom closet. I did not want to have to wash the roller (I am against washing paint into the drain for eco reasons), so I didn't want to spend much money on a roller that I would only be using for 5 minutes. Overall I was satisfied with this roller for my closet painting project. I had to remove a 96" wire shelf because I'd put too much weight on it and it was pulling the clips out from the wall. So, after patching the 20+ holes from the shelf's clips and brackets, I poured my paint into a tray and loaded up my roller. It took quite a lot of paint to load up the roller, more than I had anticipated. But once I had even coverage on the roller, I starting rolling my wall. As with just about any roller I've ever used, there was a bit of "fluff" that came off the roller which is aggravating but hey, it's a closet that is going to get packed full and I'm not going to see it every day. In hindsight, next time I will use a lint roller on the paint roller before loading it up with paint. Maybe that will cut down on the fluff? My paint spread evenly over the 1x8 ft area, and I did not have to go back to the paint tray since the roller held so much paint...I just kept rolling and blending the paint on the wall. I had a couple tiny spatters on my tile floor when done, but again, that always happens when I paint with a roller. Maybe I don't have the right technique, but I think it's just inevitable to a certain extent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These Rollers Really Speed Up the Job When it comes to paint rollers I've never really paid much attention to the brand or type that I've used. However, these roller covers were a huge improvement over any that I've used before. They really hold a lot of paint and the coverage is the best I've used. Each coat went on evenly and quickly and even after extensive use they weren't leaving behind any lint. These made a noticeable difference in how quickly we were able to get the job done and I'd highly recommend them!
