16 oz. Citrus Scrubbing Gel Hand Cleaner is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works without all the scrubbing. This product is very easy to use, and actually works as intended. Hands had dried paint I needed to remove. Normally, I would go through the routine of warm water, soap, and scrub pad. With this product, all I need to do is wash my hands with this cleaner as one would normally do, and the paint just goes away...That's it...No scrubbing needed whatsoever. Has an orange scent. Wonderful product that works. Will definitely ensure I have this always on hand...Love it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Great for Spray Paint I don't paint often, but when i do, i usually get paint on my hands. And it is ANNOYING. Sitting with my hands under scalding hot water for 10 minutes after a paint job simply sucks. So when i saw this product, i decided to give it a try. For the first test, i painted an outdoor fence with some outdoor latex paint. After drying a while, i washed my hands under warm water. I'd say about 80% of it came off instantly. I tried the PaintErase Hand Cleaner, and most of the rest came off as well. I couldn't say if it was that much more effective than heavy scrubbing with regular soap, but it did it's job. I could definitely feel the tiny scrubbers doing their thing, and they were not irritating at all. A few tiny specks of paint refused to come off in places such as around the fingernails, but that's to be expected. I rarely use oil based paints, and apparently that's PaintErase's strong point. However, I decided to really try the effectiveness with something that I've had LOTS of trouble with before: Spray paint. And not just any spray paint. Rustoleum spray paint. PaintErase doesn't specifically advertize for this application, but after all, paint is paint. Here the results were not as glamorous. After drying, i washed my hands with soap under water. Almost nothing came off. Then i tried using PaintErase Hand Cleaner. This had better results, but I'd have to say that it took a tremendous amount of scrubbing. At this point, only about half of the paint came off. I was disappointed. I went to my go-to hand cleaner, the standard orange ZEP heavy duty hand cleaner with pumice. This stuff is much coarser, and feels like cleaning your hands with sandpaper. Even that wasn't able to get off all of the paint, with about 1/4 left. Rustoleum is some tough stuff. I had to go back and scrub my hands again two more times before they were what i would consider mostly paint free. Persistence seems to be the key, with lots of scrubbing and specific attention required on tough spots. I was hoping this product was the magic bullet, and i'm sorry to say it was not. SUMMARY Pleasant scent and a nice feel. Good for latex paint. Little success with tough Rustoleum spray paint, but tougher products didn't fare that much better. With a title like PaintErase, i was expecting more spray-paint effectiveness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great even on oil based paint! Wow! I've been repainting the doors, baseboards, and moulding in my home and every time I start to paint I end up with oil based paint on me that takes weeks to come off. This product actually works and takes all the oil based paint off very easily. It also has a slight citrus smell which is pleasant along with a little grit like a mechanic soap to help remove stubborn paint. As you can see from the photos trying to wash the oil based paint with water just smeared it and the water beads up. With the PaintErase the paint came off completely!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only thing I've found that really works I've been using a lot of wood dying, and occasionally my gloves would rip, and I'd end up with the dye all over one of my fingers. Nothing else I tried could get it off, it would take several days of frequent cleanings to eventually wear away. This stuff got it right off. It smells fairly pleasant, and doesn't leave your hands feeling like they've just been through some sort of chemical peel. I've been pretty happy with this whole line of products, they really do get the job done without being caustic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what its supposed to do Removes adhesives, latex, acrylics, varnish, enamels, oil and water based paint (wet or dry) and has these little scratchless scrubbing beads in it. Takes off the goo without harsh chemicals and smells great. It does not dry out your skin either and leaves them feeling nice and moisturised.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like a mechanic's soap This is a good product to consider buying if you have an upcoming painting or staining project. I used this product to clean my hands of silicone and oil-based artist's paints. I am very satisfied with the product's ability to remove the oil-based paints. It did a reasonably good job with the silicone too. The gel feels like it has granular particles like a mechanic's soap and I am sure that helps break down the paint from the skin. Like mechanic's soap, the grit can be overwhelming if you rub too hard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from scrub away This cleaner helps remove any type of paint from your hands and body. The cleaner has scrubbing beads that help remove the paint. It lathers well and smells like regular hand soap. I had spray paint on my hands after a craft project. The cleaner removed all of the paint from my hands and nails. I did have to wash my hands two times to get them completely clean though.
