My wife has always wanted a greenhouse and this year I bought her the Palram 8' x 12' Silver Essence. It took a couple of days to build (ok maybe more) but it was well worth it. I began in the living room inventorying all the pieces and marking those that were not marked. This is important and will speed up your build.
I'm not sure why there would be any negative reviews on this product. It is extremely well engineered and fits perfectly together. It is important to have a square and level base. It took a little longer to build then I had expected but it was a lot of fun especially after such a difficult winter.
I built the greenhouse on a 4" x 6" beam foundation. I didn't want to use any treated lumber inside the greenhouse so I used plain 2" x 4" that were 92" long and didn't need trimming. The kids bought my wife the shelving and the automatic vent openers. From the pictures you can see that I built a 12" H x 28" D" x 140" L planting bed and filled it with potting mix. I figured this was better for lettuces then using big pots. The planting bed is lined with plastic except for a 2" wide slit that runs down the middle for drainage. There is screening material that covers the slit to prevent the dirt from falling out.
I'm in the process of running electricity out to the greenhouse to recharge a 12volt battery that will operate a temperature controlled automobile radiator fan that will be attached to the underside of one of the vents.
I highly recommend this greenhouse. It's very well made with all parts fitting together smoothly. To date we've had some strong storms and high winds blow through and the plants are as snug as a bug in a rug.

To begin with, it took three men a day and a half to assemble.
If you experience wind over 30 mph, don't purchase this product! The panels will get blown out and if not replaced immediately, the whole structure will collapse! It's not worth filing against our homeowners insurance because it will probably just result in a higher premium. $1,500.00 wasted!!! Nothing left to put together...too twisted and mangled.
Tried to upload the picture of it after wind damage but was unsuccessful. They probably don't want you to see what it looks like!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WillSmith A Very Good Product, Yet Difficult To Assemble
This greenhouse is quite excellent with respect to engineering and workmanship. The parts are precision components that fit together quite well. That said, the instructions could use an update for clarity. There is no language instruction beyond the safety warnings and assembly tips, it's all pictures..
The doors are especially difficult to assemble and you should observe all pictures carefully, to ensure you have the right amount of screws loaded on each track or you are in for some painful breakdown and rebuild.
Given the 918 individual parts for this product (there are a few extra parts), it does go together quite well if you pay very close attention to the pictures and detail; and use lubricant for all panels and bolts. With the current instructions, It does take 25+ hours to assemble. This can be split with two people involved, as long as one is leading. A level 5 difficulty rating on a scale of 5, from an experienced person.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2gigharbor Great Purchase!!
I have always wanted a green house and this did not disappoint! It is much sturdier and well made than I thought it would be. It took two of us 3 days to put together. I would suggest laying everything out to organize the pieces better. We have strong winds coming through and it has been just fine. This is better than I expected and love it!!!
