This greenhouse was chosen to replace a similar one destroyed by hail. The .093 polycarbonate sheeting is very attractive and light to assemble but may not be any more resistant to that kind of damage. I would be happy to invest a couple of hundred dollars more in this structure if it were made of quarter-inch polycarbonate. We'll see how this one holds up.

I bought this to enclose my new hot tub. It was fairly easy to put together. I did it myself and it took a couple days. So far we have had two high wind days and it stayed put!. I does get a little noisy when the wind blows, the polycarbonate panels to make some noise. Overall a great value greenhouse.

Piece of junk don't waste your money! Missing parts, poor instructions, snap locks don't. Everytime the wind moves a little the panels and trim pop out. YES, we read the directions multiple times BEFORE starting. YES we followed the instructions. YES, we have an extremely level base. I wish we could give it a one star rating. Please do not waste your time/money on this pile of junk. For a few dollars more you can get one that is actually well manufactured and sturdy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GrowYourOwnWay Love the greenhouse, hate the instructions
Once assembled, this greenhouse should last a good while. The assembly instructions are all pictures with no written instruction notes (a handful of notes at the beginning). Some of the pictures refer to other diagrams which are missing altogether. Some of the steps need to be reordered - for example, you cannot install the window vent as instructed because the ridge pole sags - you must first install all the roof panels to get the ridge pole straightened up. Two engineers and a reasonably intelligent business executive have spent well over 30 hours already, not including the foundation, and it is still only 75% complete.
If Home Depot is going to continue to sell this product, they need to either write a supplemental instruction booklet or ask Palram to do it. Every customer should not have to go through all this. Our neighbor has the same unit and also spent alot of time scratching his head over the assembly.
The instructions only say you must be on a level surface. This is key to making sure everything fits together and is square - if you don't put the effort into the foundation, you will have a hard time. We used cedar 4x4's with sand, gravel and concrete block for each corner and and a gravel bed.

I am really enjoying the greenhouse now.
The instructions were hard to understand. Pictures are not enough. It took us a few days to set it up and we had our neighbor who builds homes help us.
The double doors are great!
I am hoping the greenhouse will do well in the winter.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rdexter Bad purchase. we decided to buy 1 then another. canceled 2nd...
This greenhouse was quite difficult to put together. Crushed parts, missing parts, cannot return to store! company says take pictures and email. no time frame for replacements if they decide to replace. Box arrived no signs of damage, Parts badly damaged. Only snap together is outside trim, very misleading information.

We bought this Greenhouse for our summer home and we were worried it would be really difficult to assemble on our own. It wasn't too much of a hassle. We were done with the job before we knew it and we were really impressed with quality of the materials. Very excited to get in there and work some magic!

This greenhouse is what I was looking for, very attractive and sturdy,It has held up through rain and normal wind storms, I hope it holds up to Upstate New York winters. Instructions were tough being pictorial ,It took 3 of us aprox 6 hours ,we had no issues with the assembly, you just have to lay all the numbered parts out and take your time. The final product looks great and my plants are growing fast.
