Answer:
They supply 10 small brackets that are placed around the inside bottom rail (3 on each side and 2 each on the front and back) that anchor to the floor you anchor to. We used 4" x 6" x 8' pressure treated beams for our foundation and used the supplied wood screws to anchor them. On the bottom rail there is a lip the brackets clip onto around the inside base.

Answer:
Mine I sitting on top of 4X6 landscape ties. The kit included 8 or 10 clips that attach to the base of the greenhouse and then are screwed into the ties. If you were to anchor it to a concrete pad I would imagine you would use a different approach. Be very sure the base is square and level and solid to the ground and you should have no problems. Mine has been in 60 mph winds without problem.

Answer:
It comes with some heavy sheet metal taps that grasp the bottom rail and a hole that you can use a spike or rod that drives into the ground. It all depends on the surface the Green house sits on. I have a concrete slab inwhich I set expandable anchors in and secured it with bolts.

I'm female and a little over 70, but I did build a 8x8 chicken house last year, with help with the roof. This doesn't look nearly as heavy, but I'm thinking that it may be awkward to handle alone, especially the roof. If you've done it alone, let me know.

Thanks.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 34 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Value Greenhouse I bought this to enclose my new hot tub. It was fairly easy to put together. I did it myself and it took a couple days. So far we have had two high wind days and it stayed put!. I does get a little noisy when the wind blows, the polycarbonate panels to make some noise. Overall a great value greenhouse. June 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Greenhouse I am really enjoying the greenhouse now. The instructions were hard to understand. Pictures are not enough. It took us a few days to set it up and we had our neighbor who builds homes help us. The double doors are great! I am hoping the greenhouse will do well in the winter. July 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Greenhouse! We bought this Greenhouse for our summer home and we were worried it would be really difficult to assemble on our own. It wasn't too much of a hassle. We were done with the job before we knew it and we were really impressed with quality of the materials. Very excited to get in there and work some magic! May 20, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad purchase. we decided to buy 1 then another. canceled 2nd... This greenhouse was quite difficult to put together. Crushed parts, missing parts, cannot return to store! company says take pictures and email. no time frame for replacements if they decide to replace. Box arrived no signs of damage, Parts badly damaged. Only snap together is outside trim, very misleading information. May 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by a nice clear 'green'house The instructions were the usual, it would help if you knew Japanese :) February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice green house This greenhouse is what I was looking for, very attractive and sturdy,It has held up through rain and normal wind storms, I hope it holds up to Upstate New York winters. Instructions were tough being pictorial ,It took 3 of us aprox 6 hours ,we had no issues with the assembly, you just have to lay all the numbered parts out and take your time. The final product looks great and my plants are growing fast. June 26, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, but difficult to assemble The greenhouse was very difficult to assemble. Some minor engineering design modifications would have made it much easier, such as tapering the ends of connectors that are supposed to slip into other parts. Also, in a windy area, on some days you can't work on it at all. I did most of the work myself, and it took me five 8-hour days to complete, not counting delays for wind. I am 69 years old and did almost all the work myself, so someone younger should be able to do it more quickly. I mounted mine on a rectangular base of 4x6 pressure treated boards, placed landscaping cloth underneath, and filled the rectangle with pea gravel. It seems pretty sturdy once completed, but I also purchased the tie-down kit because of the high winds here near the coast. I like the finished product, especially for the price (I paid $799), but I took away two stars for assembly difficulties. June 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our new greenhouse I have already recommended this greenhouse to another couple in Dallas, TX. We have had it assembled and in use for about 3 weeks now and we love it. My warm weather plants are doing well and we're in the process of ordering more accessories now. We look forward to having hothouse tomatoes and cucumbers this winter! December 11, 2014
