Product Overview

DLNA-certified Blu-ray Disc Players and Home Theaters are easy to use with your home network. Share and enjoy digital photos (JPEG), music (MP3, WMA) and videos (AVCHD, WMV) by simply connecting to a home network (LAN). For example, you can install a special app on your smart phone and use it to access a DLNA certified PC via a Wi-Fi router in another room. The PC works as a DLNA server where your collection of movies, photos and videos is stored. You can access, browse and view media stored on the server while in another room without having to worry about shuffling discs. The 2012 Blu-ray Disc Players and Home Theaters are compatible with NTFS (NT File System) format external hard disk drives, so you can enjoy music (FLAC, MP3), photos (JPEG, MPO), and camcorder video content (AVCHD, MP4) archived on an external HDD.

  • Wifi-ready connection allows access to Netflix VUDU, Cinema now and other content
  • DLNA compatible allows easy connection of equipment over a network
  • External HDD playback enables use of remote content via USB (FAT32/NTFS compatible)
  • Connections: HDMI, 2-USB, video out, RCA analog audio out and Ethernet

Blu-ray Disc Player with Built-In WiFi-DISCONTINUED is rated 1.9 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk This is the worst BluRay Player ever made and if it reflects where Panasonic is going then simply never buy from Panasonic again. It breaks almost instantly out of the box for almost everyone and has Panasonic decided to recall and make things right ... You guess that one...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Played for 3 movies Played 3 movies over the course of the week spent 4 days at work got home and was going to watch the movie I just bought and nothing. No display to TV, player says HELLO on the front and that's all it does. The drawer opens and closes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Leave powered off after updates Worked great out of the box. Picture is awesome and the unit is easy to navigate around in. However, after loading the new firmware update the unit had heavy snow pixelation and the screen would blank out quite a bit. We had to leave the unit powered down for several minutes to get the issue to go away. Looking forward to watching many movies on it in the future. Not looking forward to more updates.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from do not buy this product We found good reviews of this product and decided to purchase it based on low cost and good reviews. Our experience, however, was not good or consistent with those reviews. Quick lost of cons: -it freezes all the time, only option is to turn it off, wait, then turn it on again -a black box appears over half the screen and disappears again randomly -extremely slow response time -remote doesn't always work I wouldn't purchase again or recommend. The constant freezing of this unit is ridiculous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY I thought it was just me, until I read the other reviews. I finally decided to join the rest of the world and upgrade to HD ths past March and bought an HD TV and this Panasonic Blu Ray player with the intention of streaming netflix and getting rid of my dish service...after only a week I was having problems. I tried to return the Blu Ray but couldn't find the receipt. I googled the problem and found out a firmwarm update was needed- ok 1 for technology 0 for me... That did not resolve the issues of the picture going in/out while Netflix or a DVD was playing. Or the player being "frozen" to the point I have to unplug it and cannot use it again until the next day. This is ongoing issue. Especially frustrating when trying to watch a movie with the children or work out

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Enough Options for Network!!! I bought this player so I could hook it up to my wireless router without having to run a cord (it has wi-fi internet built in). While I was able to connect with relative ease, I was disappointed to see only 4 options for on demand, Netfilx, Youtube, Vudu, and Cinema Now. I have an Amazon account that I cannot use. on this so that is a waste since I use the rent it now option on amazon frequently. Also, the Netfilx is not set up the way it is on my other DVD player. I cannot find any way to easily search categories, tv series, etc. I really thought the FIRMWARE update would fix all that, but NOOOOO. You would think Panasonic could easily fix these things. Also, CNET claims to have problems with Netfilx on their highly recommended DMP player.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RETURNED Hulu+ logo on packaging is misleading Purchased this product a our local department store to give our PS3 a break from streaming Netflix and Hulu+. There is a prominent space on the product's box that boasts the Netflix, and Hulu+ logos. This lead me to believe that this product supported those apps. The player was simple to hook up and we got started watching Netflix within minutes of it being out of the box. However, I did not realize until day 2 of owning the product that there is no way to watch Hulu+ (at this time). This was figured out after performing a search online for support and finding this webpage. This webpage states, "Hulu+ coming soon". There is no disclaimer stating this on the box. The Hulu+ logo on the box is misleading. I will be returning this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor WiFi Easy to setup out of the box. Menus are somewhat intuitive. Network connection was simple, however dissapointed to see only 1 to 2 bars of signal strength while my laptop, cell phones, pc only a few feet away are at 4 or more. At one point Netflix wouldn't stream due to connection speed. Moved player around some and with 2 bars seems to be streaming okay. Don't really want to relocate router and every thing else in the house to accomidate one blu-ray player. I'll see if it improves or it may be going back!
