I was looking for a microwave that would work well in a apartment/townhouse for my family of 4. We do a lot of cooking and have 2 little ones so it was important that I find something on budget and compact and easy to use. The microwave is perfect for tight places, and the easy pop out dial make heating things up a breeze.
If you are looking for a microwave for a house, I wouldn't suggest something this small. But if its for an apartment, dorm room, or townhouse then you are good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RGM29 Best Available Small Microwave Oven
In small microwaves, there really is no comparable unit. The other small microwave are cheap tin boxes. Design and construction are first class. Performance is excellent. You pay a bit more for the Panasonic but, in my opinion, it is worth it..
The only complaint is that the timer display is difficult to read at sharp angles. Tall people may have to stoop a bit to read the clock if the oven sits on a countertop.
I shopped for the best price on the unit. Home Depot had the best price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Juan Pleased with it after two weeks of use.
Can't say much since I have had the microwave two weeks. Just the right small size--no large plate can fit--for our remodeled kitchen. It was intended for countertop use. We only heat small portions and cups of liquid with it. Lots of options for us to learn on its use. Delivery was quick, price was right. We'll see how it works out in the long run.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Genie This has it all in a small microwave . . . .
This is a great compact microwave - very attractive and functional. The front is stainless steel. Although the body is painted steely gray but it is still very nice looking and does everything I want. The other lower-priced microwaves couldn't touch this when it came to reviews for reliability. Panasonic is a great brand in my experience.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Columbia This microwave is ok, but not great.
This model has no interior light when not actually in use. The system of push a button repeatedly to get the 'right' cooking temperature, then dial endlessly to set the time takes getting used to, and you need to be alert to do the dialing. Size, both exterior and interior is fine, styling (if you care) is good.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by macattackzack best microwave I ever had
in the last 40 years i have had a number of disappointing microwaves, panasonic have always been great, and this is the best design and user interface off all the microwaves Ive loved before.
time is easy to set
popcorn setting works well
computer to figure out how to cook a baked potato is also good. you can't go wrong.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nanepan Good little microwave
This is a good little microwave, which fits nicely into a spot where we needed it to fit. Not as powerful as our previous microwave, but we just use it for re-warming. Very quiet, looks nice. I can't get the "add time" feature to work, but haven't read the manual so maybe I'm doing something wrong. Other than that minor problem, it's great.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by reviewtree The right size and works well
This is a very good microwave. Nice controls, well designed, good size. Others complaining about the readout or beeping or noise are being picky. I have no complaints. Simple controls with a one minute button. If you want more complicated cooking controls, this microwave has that too.
